Well... it seems he was never there as a dad for her, and appearing just once to put on a "good dad" show doesn't qualify him as a great dad... He did great things, but I don't think he was the greatest father or husband.
@@lankishajohnson8097I’m not literally discounting them, but since they were getting older and were focusing on their futures and responsibilities. He seemed like he was always around
When a parent survived the prejudice of Jim Crow South, they’re always looking at how they stand up for right. Muhammad was one of those individuals. In his memory, we must be true to not only ourselves, but also to others.
Being raised in NYC in the time of Ali and Howard Cosell was a high point for me. Such an example of courage on many levels. RIP to a life well done.👏❤️💯
Assad is his real son. He fathered him with another woman. When Ali realized this was his son. He legally adopted him. Yes that can be done if you fathered a child , that child is in the mother’s maiden name. You adopt him in your name. People ran with the adoption story but seemed to forget about the DNA part.
With all of his flaws he might have had, he was a very good man! I met him in Munich while he was training in our gymn for his fight with Richard Dunn, UK, European champion. Still a great moment in my memory.
My dad's oldest brother who has passed in May Allah bring him peace and Janna. Was also named Mohammed Ali he's was from Bangladesh moved to NYC in 1947. The episode Miya recounted her side jerked me. Typical of Muhammad. Passion, emotion, and remission. Some dads would have absconded, but Muhammad knew in his heart that he fathered Miya, and the fearless part of him showed up to redeem his own, his little child. Make her redeemed in the face of scorn. One more reason why Ali is the greatest!👊👏🔔
I always admired Muhammad Ali's Humanity and stance for every cause he took on oh, but I only told he had two girls I never knew he had that many children they all appear to be pillars of the community giving back that's awesome
Thank you for making this video, however, there are a lot of inaccuracies in it. I will address a couple of them below… My father’s love letters were to my mother ( not another Woman) we discovered them while going through her storage unit 20 years after he wrote them. They were letters of apology and poems etc. . Also, we appreciate how “he” handled his faults. He made sure that all of his children knew each other and brought us together every summer so we would grow up friends and loving each other. This is all documented in my book you have mentioned, At Home With Muhammad Ali. PS My father’s grandson, Jacob graduated from Harvard in 2021. Just an unmentioned fact I wanted to include. As a fellow Mom, I'm absolutely certain your pride in him holds no bounds🥰 You father will always be a profoundly interesting and well beloved man who lives his life in earnest, loved with his whole heart, and left a legacy through you and your siblings that have shaken the world and will continue to do so. Wishing you and your families all the love, peace and Blessings your hearts can hold. Rest well, Champ. Your children are your greatest legacy.✊🏾
Ok. I'm going to say it. That last boy who was "adopted" I believe is a child he had by another woman. That boy looks more Ike him than any of those "biological" children.
I agree with you about Assad. My dad adopted a boy who looks just like us. My stepmother couldn't have kids. I found out after my dad's passing that he was actually our biological brother.
All those marriages, affairs, woman, babies, why lie about birthing Asaad! He publicly acknowledged his dark Khaliah, and went to her school for show and tell...
The adopted son could be a blood relative of his, which could be responsible for the similarities. You know how we do it. But Laila looks just like him and so does her son.
I love Ali and his children and their mothers, I know about 7 of his kids who are the other 2? I'll find out, reguardless of what you say about him, I grew up admiring him and this will not change 🥰❤️🖤💚love you Ali forever
I'm going to state the obvious here. As many people have commented, it is clear that Asaad Ali strikes an uncanny resemblance to his adopted father. I personally feel that the chances of Asaad being his biological son are great. The reason being is that Ali was quite the lady's man. No disrespect, but It is possible that Ali had a brief encounter with the mother that gave Asaad up for adoption. Also, it is stated here that Ali shared some words with him before he passed away that was personal and ultimately remained private. I wouldn't be surprised if Ali told Asaad that he was really his biological father.
