My series - The Immortal Investigations - is an urban fantasy and mystery series, and the first three books are all coming out at once. There’s a magic system, monsters straight out of mythology, and alternate history for all you nerds. It’s a fast paced series with tons of action, high stakes, and world shattering plot twists. (Seriously, so many plot twists!) And at the heart of the story is a group of characters that feel like old friends, and even a bit of romance sprinkled in.
And yes, this is still an objective video! I critique my own work too. Enjoy!

I have loved discovering your channel and hope to listen to your audiobook from Kickstarter :) I have rediscovered my love of reading (with no time and being a parent lol) through Hoopla and Libby audiobooks :) I will be requesting we get your first series at work(aka the librarian with the pink hair, yeah her lol) I have done a deep dive of the Cosmere this past year and you have given me many more series I look forward to enjoying. I had a similar experience as you (Storm Light) with Tress of the Emerald Sea and fell in love with the characters and humor from Sanderson. My guy, I need you to keep going! I hardly read these days as everything has gone digital but your channel or should I say your contagious energy has me wanting to dig into a thick one. A channel like this is the best marketing an indie author can come up with. I would do the same, if only my face, voice, and English pronunciation were suitable for . . . well, any kind of public activity.

Haha! Well I have some characters from Denmark and Russia, but that's the closest I get to Finland, sorry. Actually, now I think about it, I remember Finland and Russia were enemies in WW2, so maybe a Russian character is even less appealing to you? 😅 I'll see what I can do about it. 😄

I'm even more excited about this after you discussed Plot Twists. All the mystery/thrillers I have read lately have a ridiculous amount of reveals/twists that seem to come out of nowhere and half just don't feel needed. Not sure if it's simply the trend now, but it always pulls me right out of the book.
Agreed! Cause if the twist comes out of nowhere, it's more frustrating than impressive! There has to be proper foreshadowing first.
