    Is the LG C1 OLED worth it? With 120fps this is the best gaming TV for the next Gen consoles and the smooth play and graphics from the TV is awesome! The design and port layout is the same as the C9 OLED. The interface has changed and the performance is good. Checkout my review and let me know in the comments what you think of LG's new C1 TV.

    I have the 65 inch unit. I highly recommend leaving all the styrofoam in place and with two people tilt the unit over onto the floor or carefully lift it onto your coffee table (If it's large enough) using the foam as a support . This way, all you then have to do is make a slit on the bottom of the protective bag to install the base. Once the base is installed (again using two people) lift the TV by the styrofoam to stand it up and place it in your desired position. When you're satisfied with it's position, then it's fine to remove all of the protective material and plug everything in.

    • @flipnap2112
      @flipnap2112 Год назад

      does it match up to the base with the stereo foam? is there actually room for the base to attach with the styrofoam on the bottom?

    • @AdamsBrew78
      @AdamsBrew78 Год назад +2

      My 65” C1 arrived just a week ago. Quite nerve wracking to maneuver such a heavy/expensive TV with such a thin and fragile looking panel.
      Just lifted the box off, laid it on ground and filled it with the styrofoam for support, which made a great platform to lay the TV face down on to screw on the base/stand. Then it was just a matter of tipping it upright, then 2 of us lifting it up on desk.

    I'm surprised about your method of assembly. I followed the LG instructions laying it horizontally, and noticed that while I could move the foot all the way into the TV set, I had to pull it slightly out again to attach the screws. If you assemble it like you guys do, this would be extremely difficult even with 2 people, because you would have to lift the set slightly before you could insert the screws. I'm wondering if there are slight variations in how the foot gets attached depending on the size of the TV. Mine was the 55C1 btw.

    I recently purchased this tv mainly for the 120hz option for the PS5. Great tv. Only downside for me is the stand, it sits low to the cabinet it sits on and placing a soundbar in front of it is a bit of a pain as there is no gap in the middle to run the soundbar cables plus the screen is low and is slightly obscured by the soundbar. I may have to build a wooden base to raise it or wall mount the lot.

    I've had my LG TV set up now for nearly 2 weeks. I've only just watched your video. I didn't realise it had a plastic film on the screen. 🙄 I had bubbles on the top, middle of the screen where I took that sticker off that comes with it and I thought I damaged the screen. However after watching your video, now I know it was because I hadn't peeled off the plastic film off 😅
    So I thank you for that. 👍👍👍👍👍
    By the way I absolutely love my LG OLED TV

    It seems like it will be more difficult to peel off, unlike the screen.

      Facts, OLED rather its LG CX,C1,G1 you cant go wrong. With LCD/QLED = Blooming that alone kinda ruins it for me. I see why people say they love the punch on a QLED tho it hits in HDR but the bad part you get blooming with that so its a + that its brigher but its - that you get blooming so you really getting a bright milky = messy image thus blooming smears into the image making it look really flat. Even with the QLED being active it looks strange compared to a OLED even if its a little dimmer the contrast on the OLED as top notch so you get that punch.

    Just purchased the LG C1 for the US!
    I got so scared at the plug-in port, until I realized this is made for the UK.
    hoping all is smooth.
    And I'm going to enjoy dark souls and Red Dead Redemption 2 on it. Scared of update issues. Our last tv from 2 years ago would do a black screen. It was an Android, Sony model that just would not stop black screening no matter what we did with it. They threw it out. Here's hoping all goes well!
    Thank you for the awesomse

    • @_Chessa_
      @_Chessa_ Год назад +1

      @@jc4evur661 it’s doing surprisingly well!
      It does have some transitioning issues with sound and picture quality at times when I change from online to cable but that’s probably my audio on the cable box.
      The one thing I’m not happy with, is the auto updates I turn off and then the settings turn them back on to update.
      The updates are what killed my last tv/monitor and black screened it in my personal opinion.
      So I’ve been fighting with the settings on this model every month to turn off that auto update.
      But while falling asleep and waking up I notice it updates some nights.
      Overall, happy with it for the most part and hoping it lasts longer than the Sony model.
      Thanks for checking in! :) have a good one.
