Imagination this time but there was a video earlier this week, from Windsor, where part of the recording was on the wrong beat as you call it. This one is perfect, with the left foot on the strong note . This will mean nothing to a lot of people but I know exactly what you mean. This comes from a lifetime spent in marching bands and watching them.
It looks to me as if there are some Musicians from other Guards Bands mixed in with the Welsh Guards Band. Not all of them have a Welsh Guards Plume, also the Band has 6 ranks as opposed to the normal 5.

1) 0:45-Guards Armoured Division
2) 3:57-The King's Guard
3) 7:09-Machine Gun Guards
4) 10:48-Wellington
