I took a video on vacating rented house. I was super excited that I am moving to my own house and at the same time it was little heavy for me to leave the old house as I built this entire RUclips platform at that house. Also some unpleasant thing happened which I shared with you guys as well.

It happened to me before 1.6yrs approx. When I opened up relocating they said adi masam coming so no one will come for rent, if u vacate I'll deduct 2month rent (9k/m) + paint 10k. It comes around 30k. So i stayed for 2months.
When I vacate after months I thought there greed might over, but it doesn't and they charged 18k including paint..
They r proud owner of one mahal, 2bmw, 2normal cars, 3house..let they live a good life🌹
1.they forced 2months hence I loose another good house
2.Dont know y 8k they took after paying for paint and no due of rents.
I am a house owner I am very scare to cheat the tenant like this. Karma follows I strongly believe. I painted house before they came. I ask them to before they leave paint like that by their own supervision. I settled full advance.

Same with many of the house owners. The person who was so friendly for the 9 years, we stayed, suddenly behaved rude when vacating. His thought was we earned a lot while staying in their house and now moving to a bigger house because of our increased income. Actually we shifted to that house when I joined college and vacated after 9 years, when my sibling got engaged. But he didn't understood. Anyway Many congratulations

Did you had any agreement. Because my cousin brother lives mumbai on a rented house they have an agreement which they renew after the agreement is over does people follow this agreement method if you have an agreement then you can file a complaint

Same thing happened with me recently, I ended up paying for the rooms and bathroom that weren’t even functional while the owner handed us the keys.. despite knowing this he charged us in advance money… he was some senior teacher it seems… yelled like a dog, that for his age he doesn’t have to respect us.. nowadays these boomer oldies think that it’s only them that deserve respect… we young generation shud fall at their feet for whatever they say and do…
If any boomer uncles or oldies reading this comment, please understand that respect is given based on the character, not on the age.. being elder can’t make u right all the time…be humble to everyone.. karma will follow you one way or other
Most of the house owners are doing the same,recently I vacated my 2 years rental house,gave advance of 30 k in a peripheral area,but he didn't return a single paisa,he said 20k for painting,house owners pls don't cheat
We stayed for 17 years and owner was very friendly…obviously we had nice time , when we came in that house we had no property at all but now we have almost 2cr worth property, the owner wanted to cheat with advance . He asked for 1 month rent extra and painting charges, but actually we painted the house recently only with our money, and now he became rude for first and last time as we refused it ….the main thing was due to inflation the advance we gave not even enough to cover 2 months rent luckily we escaped otherwise he would have not returned it…. This kind of cheating with advance is now common with all house owners …
Hey Irfan! You are not alone!!! I ended up paying a whole month rent (30k) just for a 11 month stay!! I felt so powerless when the owner cheated my money!! This world is filled with all sorts of people! A big lesson learnt!

How much was ur Rent per month?? Dint u know that painting charges we ll b deducted while ur vacating..? And agreement is made for every 11 months once oly..If u wish to continue u can renew the agreement n stay or else leave the place ... 11 months means u have completed minimum agreement period n u sud pay the charges..

Clause sud b mentioned in the agreement..If it is painted cleaned n given while tenant is taking the position...If it is not painted 15days rent must b deducted..To paint n clean the house coz tenant would have used n made it dirty.. one month notice sud b served before vacating then n der immediately u can't vacate or else notice period rent amount must be deducted balance Rent + EB bill ( avg amount) if the bill the yet to come + painting charges + if any damages done all these r must..

In Bangalore it's even worse. The situation there is you are very lucky if you get anything back from your advance. Chennai is slowly catching up to this trend. All said and done, those silly people will remain where they are counting pennies, and we would move forward in life. Way to go bro. But the owner gave only 14k
He told us 5k for painting
5.5k for one month rent
And he also charge extra one month rent 5.5k the house is around 400-450sq ft
And he shouted my mom it hurts me lot

I also went through this. Owner gave only 10k back out of 60k we gave. There was rent+EB+ some maintenance work we accepted coming to the tune of 33k, another 17k he cheated! There has to be a law against this!

Same with us. Owner charged double rent for the last month while vacating and he is just money minded and took almost 30k from the advance amount. Now current area where we shifted charge 1k per room so we have to pay 8k including car parking but the owner and broker just for comission increased the rent to 14k.. really hurting to know how they cheat the tenants..

Irfan Bro.. Same thing happened for us in 2013. The house owner took 25K just for painting. Infact he did not paint when we went there.. when we questioned this they used abusive language. Atlast we had to leave the place just for our respect. There are good owners too respect for them... Finally in my own place .

That why we need tenancy agreement bro. It must contain every details and must be read and understood by both parties before signing it. Here in Malaysia, nothing speaks than a 🪨 Tenancy Agreement and no one claim anything beyond that.

Hi Irfan. Generally its advisable to have a proper rental agreement where all maintenance costs are clearly mentioned. I also have tenants in my property and we mention all maintenance costs and exit clauses (one time costs like painting, removal of structural modifications) before we allow the tenant. So there is no need of these discussions when the tenant is exiting. Best regards for ur new house 🤩

It happens every where .three months before you have to inform practically not possible. one before informed going to vacate but house owner took three months rent as well as maintenance and water fee for three months which do not used.

I faced this kind of issue . We stayed for 11 month's only . He has taken 10k for painting, 7k for maintainance and 10 for some damages issue. It's only 400 sq ft. People are like this . She looks like innocent but she proved her power. I looks like smart but I m poweless
