These Honda crv i - CDTi engines are one of the best engines Honda has ever built, they are power engines but very economical and reliable. My 2007 model is 250 0000 without any problems. 😆😆😆 👌👌👌
When did timing chains come into use on these engines? I have a very good engine which has done 160,000 and has a timing chain which rattles like a bag of nails and requires an £1800 overall. Compare this with a Peugeot 106 diesel which has over 400,000 miles on the clock , has never ever failed and will go anywhere. I used it to tow a two week old civic to a dealer when the gear cable snapped. That should have been my last contact with 'The Power of Dreams'.
That's funny, when I sent my Volvo V50 to be scrapped the lorry that came to pick it up had a bunch of cars on it, every single one was a french car. from Peugeot to Citroen to Renault you name it.

I hear you on that. I had to spent 500 bucks getting a new timing chain on mine at 150k. I've never heard of a Peugeot doing 400,000 miles though.
Lol, in terms of only as a method of transport yes. But... Are you really comparing a 106 with an accord? Or even a civic? 😂

Swirl valves Suck! You cannot remove the egr valve as the egr is what lubercates the swirl valves and they will stick forcing limp mode...
And why would you need to remove EGR? It is meant to be there...
You can't...
