ShakerHP on top of the circular pendulum there is a ring with 3 points that contract the face of the top (so if you were looking from above) and if you push an arrow towards the corresponding + Or - it will adjust. Hopefully that helps.
Rubbish Clock, it sounds nothing like a true westminster it is tinny and fake. I have two westminster clocks in my house in England, Both are HAC and German Built they are as close as you can get to a Westminster chime the build date are 1905 for the grandfather clock and the mantel clock is 1920. Germany was the leader in clocks
I have to agree with Alex. This sounds like rubbish. It makes me wonder if a decent sound sustain is possible only with much longer chime bars. Much of the beauty of properly tuned chimes comes from merging together of sustained notes. These short bars here and on some of my own clocks do not sustain long enough to form relationships while sounding.
@@klausfiedler64 Thanks, what makes a good Westminster is the chime rods, the clock maker who serviced my clocks advised me he would restore and polish the rods and replace the chime hammer's with hide rather than plastic, this was expensive but it kept the deep sorronus sound it has
Hammers do need adjusting. They are hitting multiple times on the rebound. This is probably why people are disliking this clock.
I love the Westminster chime on this clock, my style king clocks chime sounds exactly like your howard miller clocks chime
tilman luther where is the closest clock repair around on Dixie Highway Howard Miller Clock
That clock looks like a Thomas tompion because of the glass panels on the sides

Dunno about u but this clock sounds perfect for me
True, Germany does make the best clocks. But this one sounds nice. I’ll take it over one with a speaker any day!
