Terry Toons really knows how to make cartoons feel like the audience went to an opera I think Paul Terry must’ve been to some operas before he started doing the cartoons
Pretty much what he wants to. As the chorus sang under the opening titles, "Here's a story changed a bit, you'll find it free of all the old-time elements so CORNY...."
That didn't stop Paul Terry's staff from imagining a world WITH "color TV". Besides, there were color TV experiments that CBS and RCA were working on during this period...
are you serious? people had been experimenting with the small screen for decades. Television made it's debut for the Americans public at the 1939 World's Fair and at that fair, people watched as well listened to a broadcast by President Franklin D. Roosevelt. A Scotsman by the name of Baird was working on creating television as far back as the 1920's.
Sometimes the characters would switch roles of fairy tale characters play in operatic roles to play as human Pearl Pureheart and the wolf is Oil Can Harry before Paul Terry decides to make Mighty Mouse into an opera star for him to stop Oil Can Harry’s antics to wed Pearl out of his clutches
@@Rodney_TheOperaRat sorry about that. TY for correcting my spelling error. As I said before, wolves were frequent enemies of Mighty Mouse, not just cats. He also battled sharks, lions, dinosaurs, crocodiles, vultures and even some humans, Bad Bill Bunyan comes to mind.
Wow these wolves remind me of law enforcement investigators. Even the cameras they are shooting at us know it is doing something wrong and does so begrudgingly. (as shown by the reluctant shotgun) This cartoon illustrates the absurdity of police surveillance quite well.
+Barry I. Grauman thanks for the info. I don't think kids today and kids from the 1950s, the decade these cartoons first aired on tv would know anything about FHA and would ask their parents about it after watching the cartoon.
He probably is as Goldilocks says she wants her mommy and daddy early in the cartoon and has a design that looks like a young girl and a short teenager.
Mighty Mouse is so brave and strong and he didn't discriminate; he would rescue anybody regardless of species.
3:36 *Is that wolf serenading 🎶😂😂😂*

Somebody touch-a my SPAGHET!!
The Three Bears reference from the previous cartoon, ''Somebody Touches my Spaghet!''.
March 7 1946:
It's fairly nice, Terry; but I think it could use some more ... *SOMEBODEEH TOUCHA MAH SPAGHETT!*

Another classic.
Mighty Mouse in a Fanfiction meets Harry potter any one ?
SUMBODY TOUCHA MY SPAGHET
Kiddie lit crossover with the Big Bad Wolf!
SPAGHEET
Next to cats, wolves appeared frequently in Mighty Mouse cartoons as his archenemies.
Is Mighty Mouse using a gun?!! Rotten Tomatoes would throw a fit over that if they existed back then!
🎵Hurry up! I have a job to do! 🎶 2:52
This was quite the experience for me.
What's a wolf doing in the story of Goldilocks and the 3 Bears?
Pretty much what he wants to. As the chorus sang under the opening titles, "Here's a story changed a bit, you'll find it free of all the old-time elements so CORNY...."
+Barry I. Grauman excuse me, but did you watch these cartoons on tv in the 50s.
There's a wolf in the racist Warner Brothers cartoon GOLDILOCKS AND THE JIVIN BEARS.
brian sedlock q
what's q?
As far as I see it the wolf is in love with goldielogs and he wants her for himself. And he's not taking no for an argument
Sophia Viteri "goldielogs."
Sophia Viteri "argument."
I think you mean "goldilocks" and "answer."

Debut of the singing Mighty Mouse.

Is that who it was? I was wondering.
Color TV was never invented until the 1950's.

the first cartoon character to appear in television experimentation was Felix the Cat in the 1920's.

Brian, you have a point. The wolf was in Little Red Riding hood and The 3 Little Pigs. Goldie Locks is supposed to be the culprit in this story.
One of the few MM's which featured a human. Goldilocks sounds just like Pearl Pureheart and the wolf sounds just like Oil Can Harry.
@@Rodney_TheOperaRat the Pearl Pureheart/Oil Can Harry opperatas were the best of the Mighty Mouse cartoons.
@@67nairb You mean operettas
