I'd tread carefully selling those parts and tools. You will need somewhere near 300 of each to get from +10 to +15 for each weapon or armor. That's 600 ish for 1 gun and 1 armor and nearly 1k of each if you want a secondary too. They do not drop very often in the open world. If you start saving now you still won't have enough by the time you need them
