This was the only song I really liked and it didn’t even get to the finals :/ this had the best and most important meaning and everyone ignored it just like they ignore what’s happening with the world

I'm so sorry, but this performer just couldn't sing. That beginning was so rough. Also, the song deals with its message in a quite basic and superficial way. Just didn't click for me and many others.

To be honest as a finnish guy this audition was crap. The song was ok/decent but the singer didnt hit the note. I like darudes songs. He has produced a lot quality music. Sometimes u dont go finals even if you are darude. Although big respect for the boys! Thats no easy job stay calm in front of thousands of people..

Today I wake up and this music was in my mind. I don't know why, because I listen it at least five times after the contest. But I like the meaning of song. But juries doesn't understand the meaning and give only nine points, when public gave fourteen points.

I think this staging looks very, very good! The dancer is amazing. Sebastian improved his vocals a lot! The song is just good, not very special.
As a Finn, this is the first time I've heard the song. I don't really keep up with Eurovision these days anymore, it's not what it used to be back in the day. But I had the exact same thought. It's a good song, but nothing too special.
Darude's Superman is better but the juries and Finns voted this song as Finland's ESC-song. Of course the climate changing is maybe the most important thing of this time but I didn't think that ESC-voters want to listen about it (?).
@@tildezon I think Release Me was even better than Superman. But all the three songs felt a bit "generic and formulaic" EDM, with no real wow factor in them.

Sebastian's voice was the problem. He didn't stick to what he did in UMK and interpose that "No,no,no" and that really killed the performance, and his voices wasn't as strong. Maybe passing as 10th to the final if it weren't for that.
Visually its a really good performance, pretty beautiful. I can understand why people slept on this but the 90’s vibes and how well crafted its the visual performace made it for me.

Sure, I am from 1981 and I lived full 80 and 90 decades ; But kids and NOWADAYS perople cannot understand the artistic value of this old school song. Moreover Darude is the best known Eurodance and Eurotrance DEEJAY, after Robert Miles, passed awau in 2017. RIP.
