Is it simply using the "Xbox Kinect Adapter for Xbox One S/Xbox One X Windows 8/8.1/10 Power AC Adapter PC Development Kit with UK Plug" adapter on the Mac's USB input?!!! But doesn't Kinect only work on Microsoft? If you could help me! I want to use Kinect v2 on Touch Designer + Mac. Thank you from Brazil!
Yeah it is exactly as you have described however it only works with MM. Touch designer + Kinect v2 does not work on Mac unless via boot camp on an older Intel based Mac
I honestly would go with a windows based machine to get all of the value of the NVIDIA features in Touchdesigner. But if going mac then consider the MacBook Pro with the M2 max chip as it is optimised for video!
Hey there, I bought a kinect camera to use in madmapper. Its seems as though MM reads the camera ie: the camera turns on and the 3 kinect icons appear in the Live Input window. But there is no video coming through in the preview or when i drag the window into my comp. any troubleshooting advice? or any other similar cameras/sensors you might recommend?

Thanks for your video, i have difficulties to connect my kinect V1 to my mac M1. The kinect icon doesnt appear in MM live input. Do i miss something?
That’s unusual as it is supported on apple silicon. Maybe check the cable / update the software is al I can suggest

it's supported on both intel based Mac and apple silicon! so should be the same setup
Does this still work with the most recent OS, Ventura 13.2?
It was only supported up to monterey when MM 5.2 came out! Maybe more recent MM versions are tho! Can’t say for sure
