Beautiful takeoff and climb! Makes me want to fly out of that airport! Great video!
It's cool. A bit steep on take offs and landings b/c the runways are short. But like it better than LAX.
I've flown in and out of CA many times over the past 50 years, but we never landed of took off from Burbank. The Burbank Airport appears to be small and compact, just like the one we use in my home in Harrisburg, PA. When I was in US Army aviation I was at Crissy Army Air Field at San Francisco from 1969 to 1971. At the Burbank Airport there was a lot of smog, fog and dirty air from forest fires then, and I see the situation is just about the same these days. In 1971, my wife and I drove back to our home in Central Pennsylvania. Fate played a trick on us, I wanted to stay in CA, but my wife was set on returning to PA, and after we came home... we sort of exchanged the dirty CA air for floods, a near nuclear meltdown at Three Mile Island (10 miles from my front door), and in time dirty air here in PA as well. And to top it off we experienced a mild earthquake in PA just as powerful as the one we experienced in CA in early 1970.
Nice footage from the right side. I always sit on the left side for morning departures out of KBUR, so it's cool to see the view off to the right. I've flown that KBUR-KPHX routes numerous times, connecting to the east coast. (KBUR to KLAS more often, though). Nice work! Burbank is a great little airport, and quite challenging - short runways and surrounded on 3 sides by high terrain....major props to the jet jockeys who fly in and out of there!
Obsiley much better than LAX to fly out of less Traffic Smaller terminal Kind of reminds me of FLL PBI and CHS
This makes me think of the plane almost to low where the mountains are! I'm sure the airplane is okay and pilots go everything under control!
Burbank Airport is really a nice little airport, it has this vintage post-war charm to it. It's also so much easier to get in and out of than LAX. no stress. I'd rather just pay full price for a flight than have to deal with all the crowds and nonsense that LAX put's you through.
Love Burbank's Cork- Screw Departure, I did it in Heavy Winds aboard a Southwest 737-800 at night we sat on the runway for 20 minutes as soon as we rotated a gust of wind took the tail to the left.
Agree with the other commenters. Yes, very nice take-off and ascent. Love the views of the SFV and partially that is summer fog influence there mixing with smog. Great views of the Verdugo Mtns. and then San Gabriels/Transverse Ranges. I live in NorCal in Santa Rosa Area. We occasionally get smoggy days too in fire season/late summer.

Yeah runways aren't very long there and they've got hills. Nice airport though.
The white Building when you about to take off. Is Jay Lenos extra storage. And on late Friday nights we have a our classic Japanese club meets. And man those Jets are LOUD! 🥺😱
Got lucky and took off runway 8 not too long ago. An insane take off so close to the terminal!
