Thanks for your review. I was not aware that it came with an additional thermos for storage. Looking forward to checking this out when it come to the USA.
This is high-power top-of-the-line blender with vacuum function. Using vacuum (or, more precisely, reducing the pressure inside the jar by pumping out the air) largely eliminates very intensive oxidation of products during high-speed blending. The result is smoothie which is not changing its color and consistency which happen quickly after traditional blending.
It will heat things as will most high-speed blenders, though they don't advertise it as a "feature" like vitamix does. Also it comes with a 7-year warranty.....and it costs $650 which is just silly.
If the blending was done with vacuum function switched on the pressure is released by raising slightly small rubber stopper in the top cover. This allows air to move into the jar through small holes under the stopper (the air is pumped out of the jar through these holes too). Cover then can be raised a little but since it is tight, the stopper has to be raised again to allow for more air. This may need to be repeated once or twice until top cover can be taken away.
Indeed, you are right. The blender is listed only at eujuicers.de. This does not mean it is available only in Germany, they ship it everywhere though there might be some short supply problems. From my usage experience note that the jar is bit smaller than those big 2l jars which might be limitation if smoothies would be made for family. Ohterwise the blender works fine.
You ruined the smoothie the moment you started and stopped blending smoothie in the beginning. You supposed to put ALL ingrdients at once in the jar, put everything in vacuum and blend. By blending without vacuum in the beginning you introduced air to the food and it started to oxydize imidiately.

irk i
What hasn’t been done here is pour the smoothie in the glass he had on the table. It looked like a very thick consistency.
Does this vacuum blender also make hot soup? Also, how long is the warranty and what does it include? Vitamix offer a 10-year, no fuss warranty.

Is the whole concept of blenders , really healthy , I am not sure we came across blenders in our evolutionary history
When the blending is finished how is the pressure released? It looks as if the top pressure vessel came off with no pressure inside?thanks chris

The idea of the vacuum blender is to vacuum at the start so no oxygen goes into the mix.
This blender is available in Europe from eujuicers.com, they also have quite a few country sites which can be accessed there.

According to some information it is coming soon to the US.
Tramon Walker Hi! It is available in the U.S., now. John Kohler at DiscountJuicers is posting a video on it, later today (or this weekend).
