When the bird latched onto your finger and closed his eyes, that was a "be still my heart" moment. Little birdie didn't want to leave you! You are genuinely a kind and thoughtful man for saving that sweet animal, Jaime!

Jamie, window clingers help the birds. They don’t fly into the windows as bad. Because without Klingers, they just see the reflection of the trees. Good job helping a little guy. Give Sherpa a big hug for me.👣🐾🍀
We had a bird do the same thing. I closed the curtain so our dogs wouldn’t bother it. It eventually flew away. I appreciate your care of the bird. Thanks for the video. Hello from Kentucky USA
I cannot believe Sherpa missed it all. It’s so funny. His sleep is important to him. As a 71 year old I know how he feels. We just got a puppy and she wears me out. I need my sleep. 😂😂😂💙💙
Well done moving the tree and saving it, instead of throwing it out. Thought the sparrow probably appreciated the warm inside of the house since it wasn't keen to depart! Good work.
We put the birds in a shoe box with a wooden perch inside it, leave in a cool place for a couple of hours. Take the box outside, open it and try and hold the box so the bird is head on to the wind, it should go, if not try again later. We have saved over 230 in the years we have lived here!
To stop the birds flying into the window-You need to put up some of those vinyl stickers that you can peel on and off on your window. The birds see the out side reflection in the glass and think they can fly through.
Jaime, good for you helping out that little bird. Thank you for your tremendous kindness in helping out the bird and replanting your Christmas 🎄. Thank you for not killing an Evergreen tree. Many blessings to you and Sherpa!!! Joan ❤❤❤ and Keith
Aww Jodie with the prickly ouchmouse (K'ey called it) and you with that poor little bird, you are both very kind and caring people 🌹💛 true friends of nature. High 5 to you today Jamie! 🖑
I wish I could show you a picture of a sparrow who flew into my house and landed in my bed next to my dachshund ❤ Nature found nature. I’m glad you help the sparrow and it was a good outcome. Probably Sherpa new this to happen and decided to rest in confidence. Blessings from Mexico. ❤
Just when I thought this channel couldn’t get any better, you help that cute little bird, I shouldn’t be surprised, you’re a really caring person, Jamie. I love all the other doggy channels, but Sherpa & Sherpa Day are the best, without doubt. ❤
Sherpa couldn't even bear to watch the tree transplant. 😊 Another episode showing how Jamie takes care of all of nature's wonders that he can. Well done!
Brilliant work, Jamie. You saved two lives in one day: A little bird and a little tree. You have a heart of gold. The bird and the tree will go on to have families, all thanks to you. While Sherpa slept. 💙💙
If you place something decorative on the outside of the window it will help the birds distinguish that there's a window there. The outdoor reflection on the window makes them think that the window is open space.
@Sherpa's Day It should help. I worked 27 years for the Game Wardens in our state here in the US. I used to tell people about that little helpful hint all the time.
Put some type of orange sticker or something of that color in your window. They can't tell it's just glass, and they fly into it. So nice of you taking care of the little 🐦.
@SherpasDay A lot of people do it here. If you have a big glass window like yours. Birds just think it's open and can fly through and boom, they hit it. Hopefully it will stop the little birds from smacking into it.
Oh, darn, I wish we could have seen Sherpa with the bird! I want to see him interact with other animals and smaller dogs to see if he has any parental or big-brother instincts or anything like that. Oh well, maybe we'll get another chance someday. That xmas tree looks really great, Jamie! Thank you!
Jamie! Has this happened before? It's an old wives tale,. It says that if a bird hits your window and dies, that some you know will have passed away! It happened to me! It turned out that my uncle had passed away!
Jamie this was a wonderful video! Life in many forms is all good in your hands! Sherpa knows, that's why he went into the bedroom. He says, "You got this Dad!" 💜🐥🐕🌲💜
Poor wee fellow took a heck of a knock there. Between the stun and shock, warming him up was the best thing for him. Oh your new tree look fabulous and you did a great job repotting him. Take care and have a great day.
Always heartbreaking to see all the Christmas trees just tossed out after it’s all over. Seeing your big effort to keep yours alive and happy was just the tonic I needed today. And that little birdie was a fortunate fellow to have his accident at your doorstep. What a wonderful peek into your warm and lovely heart, Jamie. Bless you & Sherpy 🐾💕🐾
I remembered my mom got flippin' mad when I did exactly the same, replanting flowers in our living room with my cats and it didn't go very well…Sherpa couldn't not bothered because of his Christmas belly? Thank you Jamie for saving both bird and tree. That was so sweet of you! 🥰❤️💙
You need to water your tree ... the rain won't be enough ... excellent job with the bird ... the get confused by the reflection of the outside in the window ... hugs to Sherpa
Thank you Jamie for saving that precious bird. I’ve had birds fly into my window as well. Unfortunately, a Goldfinch and a Robin did not survive their encounter with my window. There are decals to put on windows so that birds see those instead of thinking the window is a clear path. I had tears in my eyes until I saw him fly up into the trees. You are a kind man with a big heart. We need more animal lovers in this world. Your tree looks great. Sorry Sherpa didn’t help. Guess he was too worn out from his Christmas adventures and unboxing. Give that adorable fluffy boy a hug and kiss for me. Much love from Tennessee USA. 🐾🥰
This is why I watch your videos, you have such a kind heart and really care about Animals & Humans. Thank you for helping this precious bird🥺💕 I know your Mum will be proud🥰
You are a very caring person animal lover. That happened to me a couple of times a bird flying to my living room window and managed to stun itself I went out see if it was alright by the time I got there the bird flew away.
Jamie, what you did for the hurt bird goes beyond having human kindness & "Yes, that little bird will definitely remember your kindness, believe it or not. Happy Birthday to you coming next week. Our birthday's are only a day or 2 apart. Your biggest fan of you & Sherpa.
Jaime, to prevent the birds from hitting the window, there’s a one-way transparent film called Collidescape. It also reduces cooling costs. You’re so good to the birds. Hugs for Sherpa!
I had a bird get loose in my house once. My cats brought it in. They also brought in lizards. That was always fun lifting furniture to get those. Thank goodness they don't go out anymore, so no animals brought into the house.
Try putting some tape or colored adhesive on the window. Birds that are flying into the window don't see the glass and think they're flying inside into a room perhaps to find shelter. Great job on getting him back to fly again! 🐦🏆
Poor Sherpa. He would be so upset if he knew he missed a bird being right in his house! It was very nice of you to help that little guy. I’m sure he appreciated it in his way. Good work with the tree. ❤️🇨🇦🥰
Jamie, thank you for helping the little bird. It hopefully just needed the time to recover. You are so sweet to tenderly care for it, while Sherpa napped the whole time.
Poor baby sparrow. They always do that the young ones. Would window stickers maybe help? So they don't think they can fly right through. I'm glad he was ok.
I rescued a golden flinch from my area and man this makes me think about back in the times making him rest and fly off for the final time for my family before he made home. glad you helped a little man when he needed it the most ! Cheers for you Jamie and sherpa!
Sherpa was completely oblivious of what was going on lol. Your a kind soul saving that beautiful little bird, I’m so glad he was okay and flew successfully x
Have you been putting vodka in the bird water! On a serious note...it's very sweet, the way you love and react to animals. And funny too- like when you walk past sleep or cattle- "It's OK, we're friendly!" Bird be like "No, I want to stay with you in the warm you silly hooman. That's why I flew into the window!" In the van- why does Sherpa look so displeased with you? Was it because he wanted to play with the bird and is annoyed you didn't keep him there? 6.44, "You wanna get this all done...good luck with that Buddy" Him walking off was just perfect! Absolutely freaking hilarious! Love, hugs, kisses and please give MiLord a head rub for me. And well done, you did it!
I LOVE that you bought a tree that can be reused next year, that is awesome! I appreciate how much you respect nature! I'm glad to see that little bird fly away. They can't see that there's a window and they fly into it thinking it's open, maybe you could try hanging something (like a suncatcher???) in the window to show the birds it's not open space.... ♥
Well done Jamie. Not all birds make it . You did the right thing giving it shelter and time to recover. I noticed when he took off at the end ,another bird was calling ,so hopefully that encouraged him to go. God bless your kind heart.
I used stick-on reflective bird stickers for windows, from the Dollar store, and they work really well. Are also non-permanent, so renters can just peel them off (mine are on the inside of the windows), wash the windows and go, when they leave. My parents/ friends have also used the stick-on black "shadows" of hawks or owls (& they work, too). Cheers, all!!
So glad the bird was ok. Jamie did a great job helping him before helping his Christmas tree. Sherpa was worried about the little tree and did not want to see it injured. But I think he trusted dad all the way.
This used to happen quite often at our house. You can try putting a sticker or sun catcher in the window to keep birds from flying into it. It worked for me. It was very sweet of you to tend to the poor little bird that was stunned. Says a lot about your character. Have a nice day.😊
Thank you Jamie for taking the time to help the little bird...🙏😊
Aw thankyou Steve! I'll buy them some more food 😄
When the bird latched onto your finger and closed his eyes, that was a "be still my heart" moment. Little birdie didn't want to leave you! You are genuinely a kind and thoughtful man for saving that sweet animal, Jaime!
I hope jaime gave the bird some food like bird seed or something, and water
That's true. But also, it's dark out. They know they're supposed to sleep when it's dark that's why it didn't fly away.
Imagine every person as caring like Jamie. The world would be such a better place.

And that poor tree as well... 🌲🌲🌲 Well done, Jamie! We're proud of you! Even Sherpy... 😁💕 Lol...
Thank you so much Jamie for looking after that poor little bird, you are a very caring and loving person! Sherpa is a bit of a sleepyhead!! 🥰
Haha he missed it all lol
@@SherpasDay Thank you so much for helping the little bird. You’re a very good man.
Aww poor bird 🐦 your so good to look after it some people wouldn't have bothered.

Jamie, window clingers help the birds. They don’t fly into the windows as bad. Because without Klingers, they just see the reflection of the trees. Good job helping a little guy. Give Sherpa a big hug for me.👣🐾🍀
I second this. The reflection on the windows look like the trees.

Helping animals in need is so gratifying. It takes strength to have a soft heart.
Thank you Jamie for keeping this darling bird safe and warm.

Sherpa: those birds have been drinking and flying again.
😂
So Glad the bird is okay thanks to a fellow animal lover: Jamie
😊💙
Little dudes like, "Mate, I liked that box? What you doing?! It's warm in there, give over!" 😆
You're a good man, Jamie. There aren't a lot of people nowadays who would take the time to care for a tiny, little bird like that. Very kind, indeed!
Aww Jodie with the prickly ouchmouse (K'ey called it) and you with that poor little bird, you are both very kind and caring people 🌹💛 true friends of nature. High 5 to you today Jamie! 🖑
Jamie, sometimes the birds will see their reflection on the window, thinking its another bird. Then...BANG..into the glass. You are a good, kind, man.
Thank you for reviving the bird. Lol re Sherpa’s complete disinterest in gardening.
Aww, the poor birdie 🐦🐦! I'm so glad you were able to save it. And Sherpa none the wiser to what was going on.
Good day , two living things saved today !!!

That bird is very happy that you helped it and it will live a long life
Can you put something up at the windows to stop the birds crashing. I think you can get stickers.
Dad really you are going to make a mess. I will stay in here to watch nice job on potting the tree.

Hope You succed in making it grow outside.
I really hope so too 🤞🤞

Aww. Poor birdy. Glad to see that it wasn't severely injured.
Oh my goodness, he wants to stay with you & Sherpa but not to be, fly free little Birdy!!🤎💕

Aww Jaime that's so sweet of you to care for that bird like that I know Lord sheps appreciate it to much love to you guys
Jamie you are very compassionate.
Bet sherpa would have enjoyed the entertainment of the bird flying around in the living room 🤣

Suncatcher is a great idea 😊
My mom has been having problems with this for the last couple of years. Scares the crap of us when they hit the window
Well done Jamie. Not all birds make it .
You did the right thing giving it shelter and time to recover.
I noticed when he took off at the end ,another bird was calling ,so hopefully that encouraged him to go.
God bless your kind heart.
If this happens often you need to put butterfly stickers on your windows. The little guys think they can fly through. Love to you and Sherpy
That happened twice to my window, I drew white straight lines on the window and it worked
I used stick-on reflective bird stickers for windows, from the Dollar store, and they work really well. Are also non-permanent, so renters can just peel them off (mine are on the inside of the windows), wash the windows and go, when they leave.

@@kgrant3184 Yep those work! My previous window at work always had birds flying into it, added big black bird sticker, no more bird injuries!
So glad the bird was ok. Jamie did a great job helping him before helping his Christmas tree. Sherpa was worried about the little tree and did not want to see it injured. But I think he trusted dad all the way.
Good job with the sparrow m8 ...👍👍👍👍

Jamie that was absolutely beautiful what you did.
Jaime, thank you for taking care of God’s creatures.
You are a gentle soul Jamie ❤️
