I love Devizes. I like it because there are no tall buildings.🏠🏡 I also like the black swan's hotel. I would love to live in a house with that style, its dining room, bedroom are cozy and it also has a modern bathroom. Sherpy is so cute, how he enters the room, explores and sniffs everything and how he looks out the window is funny, he is the ideal mate! 😄That fish and chips looked tempting and the dessert exquisite.😋😘🐕❤

So after the blustery and exciting drive we are now in front of the famous door, room number 4.
A beautiful quiet hotel during the day but it gets spooky at night.
I'm sure there was definitely an orb to see. Sherpa and Dad spend an exciting night.
The food looked amazing, Sherpa was dying to try it.

Hope you both had a good time in Devizes, it's my home and I cycle along by the canal Wish I could have met you both. On one of your next trips, check out the White Horse of Wiltshire, there are 9 in Wiltshire. Also there are some other carvings on other hills. Military related, can you find them? Also check out Avebury it has a stone circle built at the same time approx as Stonehenge, you can walk up and touch the stones.Caroline from Devizes.
Jamie your thoughtfulness for Sherpa is so lovely, you moved the chair so he could have more room.

I'm so glad you can bring Sherpa into so many places! It's not like that where I currently live, haha. I'd love to see more dogs on public transit or in restaurants. Cats too of course. Haha. It brightens up most people's day, I think!

You could hardly get my dog up or down 3 steps, even with treats! She was so clumsy, but that made her even cuter!
I can't get over what a 'puppy face' Sherpa still has in spite of the fact that Jamie says he's an old dog. Thanks to all the adventures he gets to go on, Sherpa will stay young looking a long time. I appreciate Jamie translating what Sherpa says. Even better would be closed captioning to help me understand some of Jamie's words. 😀
You can turn on closed captioning for most of these videos (sometimes it says it's not available for some reason). I use it a lot cuz I'm American and can't always understand Jamie's accent. You click on "CC" at the bottom of the video screen, if you don't know that already.

Sherpa loved that window with a view of an active pedestrian area. Just the right height! He could get all the smells and visually supervise matters below to see to it that everything was to his satisfaction.
Sherpa and Jamie are the perfect pair and you can see how much Sherpa loves him 🤗🤗The hotel is very pretty.
Besides the lack of spookyness, is always grateful to watch these beatiful english towns and canals, like this of Kenneth & Avon I reckon. Perhaps Sherpie could howl his way to get the locks opened and closed.

Very chill (not chilling!) adventure! The bed looked so comfortable! The other guests at The Black Swan will swear they heard a ghost at night... something like nails tapping the wall or ceiling! Sherpie running in his sleep, tap tapping the wall/desk is the ghost! 👻
After you had dinner and came back to the room Jamie, you were in the bed and Sherpie was looking out the window, there was a quick fuzz on the screen. This is NOT the time you mentioned that it was dust ironically. So if you want to run it back and see, it was around the time you mentioned "Sherpie found a way out" after the dinner & dessert.
Thank you for taking us along! I really enjoy your adventures and commentary in addition to loving Sherpa! BTW if Sister Sarah isn't able to go with you on the canal boat and you need another human, see if Jodie & Key will come along! I can imagine Sherpa & Key loving it up! 💜💜💜💜

Wonderful hotel and room. Full of charm. Food looked good. Sherpa saying he wanted a place at the table with double fish and chips😂😋read up on the ghost and apparently she has been seen sitting on the chair that you moved, Jamie😟luckily she didn't disturb Sherpa😊but no ghosts😭😭but it was a lovely room to stay. Beautiful walk beside the canal. Always wanted to go on a canal boat. Such a slow peaceful holiday. On to the next ghostly hotel, Jamie😁sending a hug to Jamie and Sherpa🥰❤🥰🐾🐾🐾

Happy Sunday Jamie and Sherpa. I'm glad there wasn't anyone walking on the side of that road. My mom and I got drenched a time or two walking in the rain in California. Poor drainage or like the song "it never rains, but man it pours!"
I just got soaked this morning, but was only expecting sprinkles and got drenched opening the backyard gate. On the central coast, here, and Monday is supposed to be heavy rains, which equates to an inch or two… my dog’s not loving it but the plants are! Just hope there aren’t floods or mudslides.
