Beautiful I would never get fed up with the view from the house, I always try to get up to the highlands of Scotland twice a year if I can, we live in Scotland buts just over a three-hour drive to get up to my favourite place the Black Isle.
If you ever get the chance to go to the Black Isle, Dani, you need to go to chanonry point to see the dolphins only a few metres from the shore.
If you want to see what it is like just look for Chanonry point on RUclips, if you time it correctly on a rising tide it's a sight you don't forget in a hurry.
You are a magician and a therapist. When you talk my cells reorganize and stabilize. It is about your voice, way of speaking and your poetic language.
Hat down in front of your work. Have been into nature sound recording, so I can sense the field and dedication.

It all makes me feel as if I’m there. Your “ mostly Dani tree” is really special; it’s perfect. The spacing of the branches allows sufficient room to hang the ornaments properly for viewing. I like it. I think it is beautiful. I’m glad you were thoughtful about where you harvested the tree. Your videos are always thoughtful & professional; & you two are a great working team. the summers are exhilarating, seeing the sun dip down to the horizon and then going straight back up leaves you standing there in awe.
During the winter I easily fall in the trap of sleeping according to the sun which leaves me sleeping about 15 hours a day. But I also think the low temperatures affect it aswell. Currently 14 degrees by the fireplace.
This turned into quite the monologue.

Really loved this video, Dani. It reminded me so much of the things my wife and I used to do when we were first married 60 years ago this month. We still like to get out every day to take a walk in nature and hopefully make a few photographs while we are out.

A great follow-up to your last video. I probably wouldn't do too well in the cold you are in as a 60 something but I surely dig it. Everything in this video exuded soulfulness. Fattening up the eastern gray squirrels here anyway because I spoil them at the feeder with fruit, nuts, and sunflower seeds…It gets cold and wintery here and chubby squirrels will be warmer. I love your tree.....I did a woodland 5 foot tree similar for our entranceway last year and loving it so much and this year I added strings of popcorn and cranberry garland, so beautiful. I also have some faux pinecone sticks in it here and there.. ....tho' I could use real pinecones as you did as we have a tall pine in our back yard that produces the beautiful long pine cones! Also your scenery there is so beautiful....winter and snow is my fav season! Happy New year!

@AB oh ja, dann musst du nach Schweden fahren, im tiefen Wald bei einer Eiche übernachten und am frühen Morgen sehr gut aufpassen, es könnte sein, dass dir ein riesengroßes Eichhorn begegnet, vorne mit einem Horn versehen, das braucht es ,um Nüsse zu knacken und aufzuspießen, viel Spaß beim Warten auf die Überraschung!

I’ve lived in northern sweden and the darkness can get hard to live in. The usual tips are to make sure to catch that sunlight, vitamin D supplements (and normal exercise is never bad). Then also realise that the winter solstice is 22 dec, after that it only gets lighter ^^
Good advice. I like wake up lights as well. And for summer get solid curtains : )

As usual, a very nice composition.
In the late 70s it took me quite some time to learn to fly balsa RC gliders without crashing them. This involved learning a lot about repairing planes. Later it was more about how to gain hight in thermals and flying for unlimited times at slopes. Just now, I am involved in a research project to make a computerised glider achieve the same goals, which is quite a challenge.
Nowadays, everybody can fly these drones without a single thought about how difficult it is to keep them up in the sky, how complex technology takes away the need of aquiring the skill to fly such a thing manually. don't get me wrong, I am not jellous. Without these drones we would not get these wonderful pictures of the swedish forest. I just would like the people who fly them to cherish and admire these little wonders of modern technology. Many have put endless hours of their spare time into developing the technology. Commercial development followed up when clever managers found out that there is a commercial market.
I keep flying my gliders with great fun.

if you add some cheap or recycled carpet, they can easier jump and land without sliding. then they can acturally jump up to 6 meter across
and not too many sunflower seeds, too many can damage their liver.
mix it up with pine nuts, crushed hazel and walnuts.

I love the Dani-tree! 😄 I have a thing for animal Christmas decoration too. I don't have a real Christmas tree though because I don't want trees to be killed just so that we can look at them for a couple of days and then dispose of them, it always made me sad. So I like your approach to choosing a Christmas tree. 🙂
