Best thing I ever did was to organize my closet by color. Makes finding an outfit so much easier.
The shaver works great on flannel sheets.! I use my electric toothbrush (with an old head) on stains. It’s like magic!

I lived in CA for years so never had a winter wardrobe. Then I moved back to WA and was so thankful for my obsession with zippered garment bags so I could easily rotate summer & winter clothes without having to clutter up the closet during transitions. I'm already OCD so not much new in this video but did confirm - Valentina is OCD! 😹

You are so right about not keeping things in the wardrobe that you don't wear, I'm guilty of that and when I have a clear out it makes such a difference but I don't really have anywhere else to store things so I do end up cramming it all in. Your space gives me joy, mine makes me anxious x
Oh Jo you deserve to not feel anxious looking at your wardrobe. We look at them at least once a day. Consider letting go of some of those items. I used to think I’d keep stuff until I fit into it again. When I did the styles had changed and I didn’t wear them anyway. Let someone else get some joy from them now. Someone shopping at a second hand store will be so thrilled to find your donated items. If they are off season clothes you’re trying to store maybe consider those vacuum seal bags.

I have a load of clothes and other items that have been waiting to go to charity since the pandemic, it's hard to get rid of them as my local charity shops are overwhelmed with donations at the moment. And I have a fair amount that I don't wear anymore but that I'm keeping for wearing round the house but I never really do! I think my wardrobe will be on the list of winter jobs to do 😳 x

I just love the feeling of an organized pantry, dresser drawers, closet, etc. I just had my garage remodeled and I am so enjoying re-organizing and streamlining it. I organize my closet in a similar way as you organize yours (yes, I fold and color coordinate my underwear and bras the same way and use the same organizers from Amazon). Love your tips!

I knew I would be cleaning out/switching over my closet today so I waited to watch your video as I worked on it. I love cleaning out and organizing my closet each season. It’s such a gratifying feeling to see everything neat and organized at the end of the day. I bought all velvet hangers last year but really didn’t like them. They grabbed on to almost every fabric(other than silk) as I tried to hang anything. I recently purchased new super sleek ones that slide easily into my clothes. Thank you for the motivation today! Love your built-in closet organization!! However, how do you reach the hangers as short as you are? Do you use a step stool? I’m fairly short and would want my clothing at a level where I could easily reach and see them. 😊

I’m torn on my boxed preserved wedding dress that takes up a corner of closet. Will my unknown future daughter-in-law really want to wear…..very unlikely. I really don’t want to store another 30 years :) What did you do with yours? I love color coordinating my closet and I also put like items together i.e all tanks, T-shirt, blouses, then long sleeves etc. and from light to dark. And I have a extra room so I have one closet for spring/summer and other for fall/winter. My hallway closet has all my cardigans and jackets from light to dark. I am continually editing both closets. Great video
You're so right about the hangers! I changed all mine to the velour and wood ones. I think if those are a budget stretch....even using plastic ones in all same neutral color such as grey or black would elevate a closet.

I stared color coordinating my closet about a year ago and it was truly life-changing!
I started color coordinating our closet about 24 years ago. On wooden hangers facing all the same way. Our closet was sectioned out too. So much so I could tell you what my husband was wearing to work even if I didn’t see him that morning because I knew what was hanging where. I had a huge closet in that house. Just recently we downsized into a new home and my closet is still the same. It is still sectioned out. I’m so lucky as I got to design my custom closet with my builder. It’s so worth it to have it this way. I do keep a tote downstairs with seasonal clothes. Just pulled out winter clothes today. I feel so fortunate and love that you show this. Thanks Valentina. Please more videos like this. I love the comments about the skinny jeans. I’m guilty. Love your solution. I’ll do it! You’re so lucky to have Jack! Your new cam is working well. I am the opposite of organized, but I do color coordinate my closet! I got the idea from a friend of mine several years ago. I start with white on the left, and then to ivory, light beige, darker beige, light blue, medium blue, etc., with black all the way to the right.
I love your closet, it’s not over the top like some I see from other RUclipsrs, that look more like a store than an actual closet, I’ll be doing some organisational de cluttering to my closet and drawers once my hubby goes back to work Lol 😂, he works away from home and that’s when I can get the most done in my own time, I’ll have lots to donate and more to purchase Lol 😂 ready for our summer months and keeping it all in neutral tones….I’ve already subscribed to your new channel and loving it. I remember Garanimals! Even though I don't think I had any. Good advice to get rid of the clothes that don't fit - I just got rid of a ton of clothes that I've been waiting to fit into and I decided that if I do lose that weight, I'll want new clothes!! 🙂 I may need to try out those organizers for socks and undies - it looks like they might be more space saving than what I have. May I suggest you get the colour matched plugs that go into uprights where shelves are installed. They make the holes virtually invisible & give a cleaner line. This is one of my obsessions 😂

My husband bought me a nice closet setup from Lowes and installed for me. It was Like 300 dollars and I love it. Plus he did something for me! Lady’s go to the dollar store they have lots of things that also help organize!
Great video - can you please list the exact black hanger you are showing the link is different - the one you are holding looks like it has a slimmer part for the pant part of the hanger and a different type of grip for camisoles.
I'm decluttering my closet at the moment and you just saved me from double guessing myself. I just went back and got rid of my pre-pregnancy pants/jeans...my child is almost 10yrs old. One thing I love about you guys is that you try products..actually several versions of the same product sometimes, so that we know which ones work well and last..and which ones don't. Getting organized does in my opinion lower stress by making things easier, providing a sense of control; but I do wish people would at least try to buy from a variety of vendors, and the little guy once in a while instead of always supporting mega corp. entities functioning more as cartels than businesses. Unless you're a billionaire, it's sort of like paying it forward; if you know what I mean. Likely more effort. less convenient and may be a little more expensive, but let's please try supporting small business owners when possible. Thanks. Great job Valentina. I've often thought there should be Geranimals for Grown-ups! I work in the city and every now and then I'll see a guy who's trying to be professional-looking but is clearly, most likely, color-blind. Brown, navy, dark green, and black all in the same outfit. I feel so badly and think - Geranimals for Grown-ups would really help.
My weakness is earrings. I have 135 pairs in 4 of those clear plastic boxes with dividers. Sorted by color (of course). Then there’s the necklaces…
In my defense, I made a lot of them myself.

I do it because people ask for it. When I share design advice without sharing what I use people get aggregated because they can’t act on it. I also treat these videos like I’m hanging out with friends, always sharing a deal when I find it.
