My best friend lost her battle to this disease 2 wks ago. She was diagnosed 3 yrs ago. Had her rt breast removed. They wanted her to do chemo. But she said they told her, chemo doesn't do any good with this type. They still insisted she start it. But she refused. She had, had 3 other surgeries to remove more masses. But it grew so aggressively. She was basically put in a hospice and passed away.
Sorry to hear that...I am starting chemotherapy Thursday. 8 rounds. I'm OK, ibjave had further tests like bone scan, CT to see if it's spread. Still waiting for results. Are you having chemotherapy. Hope treatment goes OK. All the best.
I was diagnosed with stage 2 metaplastic breast cancer in 2015. I had both breasts removed (one prophylactically) and only one dose of chemo as had a severe reaction to it. Turns out chemo isnt all that effective so no biggie. No recurrence of cancer to date.

my partner passed away months ago only about one year after mastectomy she had a metaplastic she don't know the chemo everything but editing work😢

I am a meta plastic patient did my 1st chemo but it didn't work

Cousin just past away with tnbc metaplastic, she will be greatly missed.
