I love the attitude, sense of humor, and dedication from the owner. He seemed very comfortable to share his awesome build. Perfect grocery getter and track monster. Great job, Peter!
Chris is the man! Great dude, so friendly and knowledgeable. He’s coming up fast in Bimmer Challenge and is my prediction to win B3 in ‘24. Good luck brother!
snap timed with the shift at 4:12 I am with that sentiment of the e90 saloon/estate over the coupe and not needing to go full racespec. Costco/street spec. Look good, can track, be competitive. I no longer have hard/poly bushings and it's worth the sacrifice or lack of. I think most of us are not racing for money and can remain competitive without going too far into trackspec
I love this. This dude is a really good driver. That e90 is awesome! I do hope Sub2club will make it up to NorCal. Maybe meet some drivers that go to Laguna Seca, Sonoma and Thunderhill.
Lol, back in the 90s (80s?), me and my brother called those little cars "Tamiya Junkers" cuz we didn't actually know what they're called, or that there were tracks to race them. When I was in Japan a few years ago, I found an insane hobby shop (might have even just been a floor in one of those crazy department stores), and I saw one that was Hokkaido themed, with the pooping bear driving it. I had to get it for my brother out of nostalgia (and poop humor). 😂
I feel you on that S2000 vibes. Favorite car on track but after awhile it sits for a month or so until the next track day. I just did the same, picked up a BMW. I’m in NorCal.
1000% I want to drive the car . pass on using it 10 times a year. I have a 06 330i manual trans. for now. Once I am ready financially think I'll do a LS swap e90. Hawk pads?
@@Sub2club no but I am planning to. I'm also looking at getting the UUC clutch pedal for it and a CAE shifter. Not sure what to do about the diff though 🤷
@@Vgk36I track my 328. Once you start driving on track you’ll realize you don’t need the LS swap. The N52 has more than enough power already. You don’t need to upgrade the diff either. I still run open diff. The only upgrade I would recommend is a e90 m3 rear sway bar. Even then, go drive it on track BEFORE you change anything. Otherwise you are just going to be throwing money away.
Best dude / friend / customer / personality / shoulders. Eddie Murphy for prez.
Hahahaha

Thank you Gus! Yeah it was great to have Chris and his car!
Great episode! Humble vibes all around! 🏁💪🏼
Appreciate it!!
met chris at trackspec and talked for a few min, what a cool dude.
You mean you met Eddie Murphy? Man.. hope you got his autograph
Dude seems like coolest guy to hang with. Sick car too. 🤙🏼
💯!
Just had my first track experience in Carson at the Porsche track. That gt4 changed my life I will be tracking my e90 one of these days.
🤝 you are hooked 😂
Loved this. Smiling from ear to ear til the end.
Thank you Robert!
E90 does have more aggressive hips for sure! glad you good from the s2k crash though
💯
This guy doesn't need a car to be his whole personality because he's already got one, damn.
Hahaha 💯
I share many of his same sentiments for my e92. Capable on track but still can pick the kids up from school haha. Another great video!
Great dual duty or all out platform! Thank you!
Good interview.. nothing wrong with growth!..Good Choice to upgrade to..🏁👍🏽
We agree!

I like that you did a dual duty car, that’s exactly what I’m trying to do! Cool dude and car! Fun vid!
Definitely cool dude! Thank you
I love this. This dude is a really good driver. That e90 is awesome!
I do hope Sub2club will make it up to NorCal. Maybe meet some drivers that go to Laguna Seca, Sonoma and Thunderhill.
Definitely would love to showcase some Norcal cars in the future! Thank you!

LOL! It’s crazy that Tamiya is still making them and people are still racing them. Bear car sounds to be a perfect decoration
That was a fun one!
Thank you 🙏

Awesome guy and car great vibes 🔥

badass love the build 👌🏻
Excited to see your next build! Let’s follow up!
Always love to see a properly setup stripper. More e9x interviews!!
💪 awesome!
me and chris would get along so well. we love the car but we just bitch about everything else lmao
LOL!

330i already has a great engine! Do you track often with this currently?

Chris is super relatable lmao Great video
Hahaha thank you!
Yo wait, is that my car at 2:18?
Lol. That would be Chris’s other soon to be track car!
@@Sub2club That's wild, I have the same seat, wheels and front lip
Speedholes can be for a gentleman’s car too. 🤣
Hahahaha!
Shouldn’t he have a harness bar? the angle of the belts are wrong
Why is the angle wrong? It should be within 20 degrees?
100% e90 look better than the e92 m3
