    believe me, youtube devours the visual quality of the video and even makes it darker ¬....¬

      Try using Handbrake for example and compressing the videos to about 20000 kbps or less, youtube doesn't like when you upload videos that are too big and it will take a long time to upload and become available because youtube has to compress them and does a terrible job.

    Loving these updates! The day you drop this mod is the day I have to leave work for """extended personal business trip""". Honesty though, can't wait for a new immersive play through

    Personally, I always thought Wyrms were the most uninteresting, boring and somewhat "weak" versions of all Dragon-related creatures in fantasy in general, even when compared to Wyverns.
    HOWEVER...!
    ...
    *What you have created right here... might be the most hauntingly beautiful thing I've ever seen in a whole time.*
    J-Just pucture this:
    Imagine you live in an old settlement, or even in this old fortified castle city... _but it is deep in the night and everybody is just shut in their houses._ The few bold enough to walk the streets, _they themselves make as little sound as possible._
    There are no lights to illuminate the night. There are no candles or torches lit to dissipate this quiet darkness. It almost feels on purpose, as if all the inhabitants deliberately chose not to do so. _And there might indeed just be a reason for it._
    Suddenly, out of nowhere... _you hear an almost phantasmagorical screech coming from the sky... as if coming from the distant horizon..._ And as you quietly look up to the sky, narrowing your sights as much as possible... _you see _*_them._*
    No matter how many times you've seen this event, _you just never manage to trully get used to them when they come._
    *_The Wyrms._*
    *_Covering the entire night sky._*
    *_So many, you could never count them all._*
    _Silently flying, slowly hovering over your city, your streets, your residences... as if they were exploring a forest with no owner, no territory... Their screeches the only sound heard in the night._
    _You've pondered many times why does this happen._
    _Why so many Wyrms in occasional nights like this one just gather in the dozens of thousands during the night and hover around your home in such a fashion, with not one soul daring to provoke them._
    _Do they gather like this because it is their breeding time?_
    _Are they simply in a migration to reach a new home?_
    _Or are they the minions of someone unknown, a Lord of Darkness sending his spies to watch over his dominion of the night? Or to show his dominance and that the night belongs to him, and these Wyrms are a show of strength?_
    _Are they actually a herald to dark times to come, a signal of hardships and struggles to face in the future? Heralding a possible end of times slowly approaching?_
    *_Or something else entirely?_*
    *_No one knows for sure._*
    _There has never been confirmation any confirmation towards any of these and more theories._
    What you DO know... is that when the night comes... _the streets belong to the Wyrms._
    _And if you consider yourself wise, you will stick to the shadows and not provoke them._
    _Even when they approach ypur house..._
    _Even when they approach you..._
    _Do not react and do not provoke them._
    _For as mysteriously mesmerizing as they might be... _*_you can feel it in your bones... they can quickly become dangerous._*
    Sorry, I went wild! 😅
    I just finished watching this and I just kept on writing as I went along.
    Turns out, this really give me some Castlevania vibes to me. More specifically, it reminds me of Rondo of Blood. Remember how the first boss Ritcher fights (not counting that first encounter with Death) is a Wyvern?
    Well, this somehow reminded me of that setting... a castle in the night, quiet and solitery, with the ominous Wyvern flying in the distant background...
    Well, this felt similar to that, except much more immersive and with a story 10x more involving!
    I felt like these swarms of Wyrms are indeed the minions of some Dark Lord, like a powerful vampire that controls all night creatures. But more then that, I also felt this occurence is not something that simply happened once all of a sudden. No, I had the impression that this was something that happens quite occasionally, to the point of the inhabitants of the kingdom already being used to it, not lighting any lights and not making any noise so as not to draw the attention of the Wyrms.
    _Oh God, here I go again._ ALRIGHT! THAT'S IT! I'm cutting my comment short now! 🤣😅

    Man I just had a revelation, I imagine you already knew this but I still thought it was worth sharing, you know how in the alpha, you were originally going to fight the Nameless King on a desert, and upon killing him, a sandstorm would clear up and then the Anor Londo ruins would be revealed to you? Well, the cutscene that plays in retail after the NK, the one that shows the fog clearing up is most likely is the one that was going to be used for the Anor Londo reveal, they just reskinned the sandstorm to fog, which is why the cutscene feels so anti-climatic, it wasn't just going to be a cutscene of some fog clearing up, it was going to be the goddamn Anor Londo reveal and they re used it! I knew the NK and King of the Storm's themes felt very fitting for a desert, because they were. Anyways, hope this is useful to you, if you can just recolor the fog to a sandstorm it would probably look perfect, but I don't know if you're going the "fight NK in a desert" direction

      @@abyss1ne17 Honestly, it's been a while, I think I saw it on a datamining video from some other youtuber, but I thought it was common knowledge. Since it's been some months since I've seen it, I can't give you the source sadly, I thought you'd know about it, there was also something about the Lords originally being the Deacons + Aldrich (Aldrich alone, not devouring Gwyndolin), The Abyss Watchers, but as minions for the main boss that would've been the "Wolf Blood" so I assume some spiritual version of Artorias (or maybe that Wolf you showed on some back to the alpha video), the Princes (mainly untouched, I think?) and the Nameless King guarding the Anor Londo ruins. Again, I apologize because I know it's kinda wacky but I thought it was common knowledge regarding the Alpha

      @@JP-mr1hn Well, I've never really found or seen NK mentioned in a desert, although there are some people who post things on video kind of without actually dataminated, but I understand, if you keep watching my videos about Back to the Alpha, you'll notice that some of this information won't really fit into the ones you've seen, but it's a great go through the older files that are currently available.

    How much of this mod is going to reshape the game? I don’t imagine we have that much information on the entire alpha. Plus you said you’re missing even earlier files of the game so trying to put it all together must be hell.
    Like Gods Grave for example the most I’ve seen of it was a leaked concept art image and a very unfinished version of it from videos. Are you giving Farron Keep a fresh coat of paint or are you actually designing an entirely new area? I assume the layout of places like the undead settlement and cathedral of the deep are gonna be the same.

      Well, there is a lot of information about the development of ds3, only that it is not public, with regards to the Gods Grave map layout, no, I actually chose not to use Farron Keep, I will create this map somewhere else, it all depends on how creative we are to change the progression, change enemies, create new challenges that block a path and force the player to go in another direction, create little shortcuts, the game uses the same maps in 80% of the mod, but all Lods are added and changed to give an impression that the player is playing "another version of dark souls 3", the main problem of Gods Grave is that visually I have seen desing and know how the place is, but not having the assets makes it difficult to recreate the map, and takes time, I have no modeler on staff, and as the mod is edited by me, sooo yes, it's hell.

    That looks BEAUTIFULL !!!
    After playing so much DS3 , I missed the creepy atmosphere of DS1 and 2 .
    Also those sounds are extremely chilling !
    ( They might get annoying overtime . Perhaps they should be used sparingly .)

    Ive had a question on my mind about the mod (hope you see this) but i’m captivated by your “Back to Alpha” series and wondering if you plan on placing enemies in the same spots in your created mod?

      not exactly in the same places, for example with Carthus, I will not use Smoldering lake as it is in NT and Vanilla with skeletons, it will have a whole Izalith thematically, so all the skeletons will be moved to another map, still using the Smoldering lake example, it has eclipse spiders, but this map was part of Gods Grave, so you can expect these Deep Accursed (eclipse Spiders) on the map I choose for GG.

      @@supercock370 To be very honest, I don't plan to invest much effort in Demon Ruins, I plan to create a shrine for demons, but the Carthus Caves and Smoldering lake (Searing Gorge) will be completely themed for Izalith, it's 100% my stuff, it doesn't exist in NT, but let's face it, demon society and culture is very badly used, and I want to give them a revitalized and interesting motive to survive until the last days of ds3.
