Although if he was born both blind and deaf he wouldn't be able to communicate with people: how was he supposed to learn braille or sign language? I hear the story of a girl who was born both blind and deaf. She was placed in a psychiatric hospital, she could not communicate nor eat properly for instance.
We really are lucky, we should be more grateful for what God granted us 🤲

nah, just because he is deaf blind doesn't inherently make him a genius. just like people being sighted and hearing don't inherently make them geniuses. he might have to navigate the world differently and come up with different strategies, and while that is certainly hard to do sometimes, it doesn't automatically make him better at other things. it's doesn't mean he's not smart, and it doesn't mean that he's smart, it's just the way he is and that's all. he's a normal person, just like everyone else. also, if he did have sharp senses, being deaf blind wouldn't stop him from being a geniuse
sorry if this came off as harsh, I didn't mean for it to be. I myself am disabled and I wish to correct the notion that disabled people are brave for literally just existing and living just like anyone else. it's not like we have a choice. and I don't praise abled people for existing, and I don't see a reason to think that disabled people differ from abled people in this way. I just want people to treat me normally, like everyone else, unless my disability impacts a specific area of my life that would require me to need a bit of help so that I can function like everyone else

I'm telling you we don't call them special people for no reason. Sometimes we can't even remember words that we use in our everyday lives (y'all gotta keep your pride aside and accept this) and these angels remember a massive number of signs and combine them without any mistake to form a perfect sentence. Bless these angels ❤️

Like for example how tf is someone supposed to learn him the word human in sign language? how tf will he understand that with being deaf and blind? this shit is hella confusing on how they learn this shit, my brain is exploding
