    It was soo helpful. Please also tell how to differentiate between right and left side of the forcep. Buccal and palatal difference was clearr but more defined and for all forceps. Actually i had this question in the viva and couldn’t answer

    Thank you sir!! Just a correction for pt position (height) in case of mandibular extraction: It should be 6inches below the level of elbow.

    5:15 just to clarify, when he said maxillary 2nd molar forcep, he actually meant 2nd quadrant, that is maxillary left quadrant molars, there r no different forceps for 1st n 2nd molars....

      mohon dkhar bayonet is used as root forcep in maxilla and lower anterior forcep is used as root forcep in mandible ... Elevators are better instruments for root pieces than forceps .. check out the video on elevators

      Right? I was thinking the same .. the difference of the two instruments is the side right and left not first and second .. right ?

      No he doesn't mean first and second molars ... he means first and second quadrants ..first quadrant is the upper right quadrant and second quadrant is the upper left quadrant

    What about mandibular root forceps and 3rd molar forcep..

      Rohan Bharti no specific root forcep for mandibular root pieces , you use mandibular anterior forcep or periosteal elevator
      Different mandibular 3rd molar forceps are available in market , we will make video on them soon

    The music is distracting. Please lower it a few levels so we can hear you clearly. The camera man needs to back up a bit so we have full visual. Other than that your explanation is fine.
