Love your videos so glad to see you making them again. Quite surprised about the sunscreen amount as if I remember correctly in previous videos you say your very generous with the amount you use of your products. To get the true SPF of sunscreen and the true feel of how the sunscreen wears you really need to use the correct amount. I once had a sunscreen where I used a quarter teaspoon of it and it used to always peel up it would only go well if you wore it share which was no point because you weren't getting the SPF needed. Sam Bunting and Dr Michelle Wong from Lab Muffin both recommend that you use a quarter teaspoon for the face and then a quarter teaspoon for the neck. I myself sometimes use less on days that are overcast and I'm not really going outside for much time at all. Hopefully in the future for the sunscreens you review your at least try a couple of times at the recommended amount, so you can give a true review of the product like the way majority of people would be using it.

I'm using this Coco & Eve and totally agree with you about why they didnt just put the P rating so we can see...also I agree it's nothing like a gel it's more like a serum fluid but it is very good for my skin I love it!.karen your the best ❤❤❤❤❤

I always worry about the UVA protection when there isn't a star or PA rating. I know you can't guarantee it, but it seems a high PA/star at least provides a little more reassurance of protection.
If only UVA rating was mandatory just as UVB is always stated on products.
The terms "broad" and "strong" are so woolly on the labels.
Maybe it's just me though 😊

Hi, I have just checked their website and it says SPF50+ PA++++. 50+ means that the UVB protection is above 50 but they are not allowed to put a number above 50 so they just add the +. The PA++++ is to explain that there is a strong UVA protection. It's the same type of nomenclature label Asians sunscreens use.
By the way I am just wondering if there is a reason you don't review asian sunscreens? Maybe you have but I don't recall. Thanks!

I did review ISNTREE which I believe is Asian. I did review one years ago and then there was a big drama and they were called out for not being the SPF they had stated (apologies, I can't remember the brand). That did reduce my faith in Korean brands BUT the main reason you don't see many is I like to try and buy/support UK brands if I can and I'm too impatient to wait for the ones outside the UK to arrive lol. x

Have you tried any of the Colorscience sunscreens? I think it might actually tick all of your boxes.

I haven't ever tried them no - had a quick look and ingredients wise they do look like they'd tick boxes :0) There are a lot of tinted ones so I'd go for the "no-show" one. Quite expensive but will add to my wish list, thanks so much. x
