It’s sad that ty is gone . Graham want to leave the show. He want to move on . It’s sucks and hard for the fans . Amy is a strong , brave girl . She has a her family to help her with Lindy. Amy will tell her about her dad that he help animals in need and that he love her so much and Amy too and more
When my pawpaw passed away he left behind his horse Blaze. They had such a strong bond as he rode him everyday. I feel so connected to my pawpaw through Blaze. He grieved right along with me.

Loved the episode. Was sad to see Ty leave. My mom texted me sad (I think she was crying). She loves both of your characters & as a couple. Looking forward to seeing how the characters develop & grow in their roles moving forward.

The BOND & LOVE between Amy (Amber Marshall) and Ty (Graham Wardle) how they build the relationship, up's and down's over the year's, the dream for their own business, their daughter; an entire life for them... The show won't be the same. I understand life's go on and Graham Wardle has his own dream's but Heartland without him, (was weird season 13 with him on it literally just a couple of episodes) Amy without him, is not the same. Anyway's hope the best for all of them. Love from Dominican Republic and USA.

I didnt get to see the episode because I'm in the US but between the rumors, knowing Graham might have been ready to depart the last few years, I've been going through grieving and probably will for some time. I felt a little crazy but now I know I'm not alone😥

😥😓😥😓😥😓😥😓😭😭😭😭😭🥺🥺🥺 Feeling blind sided...wish this storyline could have been spread over a couple of days in this season to prepare the fans for the loss of Ty. Feeling Completely shocked and dismayed. Everyone that is a fan of Heartland thinks of the cast as family, let me tell you my hubby and I are grieving the loss of the shows character of Ty right along with the characters of Heartland. We get these are characters and actors are playing a role. We also understand that the actors have other dreams they want to live. So we wish Graham the best in whatever will be his next chapter in his life. Amber, we wish you, and the rest of the cast have continued success with Heartland as life must go on. We look forward to watching Heartland hopefully for many more years to come, for as long as the cast want to continue. Thank you ALL for this series.

I understand. Maybe too much reality after 2020. I wish they wait little longer. I saw the whole series in 3 months but I can’t imagine fans watching the show for over 14 years. Must be hard. Thanks and keep the great work Ambar. Looking forward to see you overcoming challenges in heartland 💓
I haven't watched season 14 yet so I didn't know that Ty died. Thanks for the heads up and now there's no more Ty 😔 it won't be the same without him.

Based on my own experiences, the first episode of season 14 was amazing. My hat is off to the cast and crew for dealing with such a devastating event with respect and dignity while remaining true to the characters and the overall Heartland story. Well done. I look forward to the rest of Season 14.
I can't wrap my head around Ty dying, and not being on the show anymore.
Watching this and reading through the comments it is obvious the impact this episode is having. Our reality is there are probably as many opinions as there are people watching this unfold.
That Graham has come to this decision was his right, that so many react with a blend of support, frustration, and every emotion we can think of is not unexpected. I applaud Amber's performance as I truly think it was her best since the series began. What I struggle with is the way his decision and its impact was possibly mishandled by the powers that be. There are many that see the end of Heartland on the horizon and maybe just as many that feel maybe it has run its course and this episode was a step too far. The bigger question may center on those that continue to watch. They will reveal the true evaluation of this episode over time.
To me, the series has died, too.
We live, especially now, in very dark times. And we look for soul-lifting things, such as gratifying tv series like heartland. In my opinion, the writers did a poor job killing the main character off... why not end the series all together and keep the high standard up?

Ty was not the main character. Amy and Jack are the only main characters that are needed to keep the show going.

Missed HEARTLAND in Netflix I’m a big fan from Philippines 🇵🇭 I love the values, love and the real portrayal of the characters. It’s a quality family bonding time when watching. Missed Ty in the story hopefully there would be a twist somewhere in the future.❤️😊

The different horses have been one of the main reasons why I watched Heartland.
Also the different styles of riding , from show jumping through trick riding absolutely amazing show although ty has left, the show in its entirety is about so much more.
I never thought that Graham would leave this show that he and Amber especially, gave us such a great storyline. They were magic together. My concern is where does Heartland go now without that storyline? Amber has been outstanding so far. I saw Season14 Ep 1 here on You Tube. She was outstanding but I cried my eyes out. What's going to happen to Heartland? And how will he feel if there is no Season 15 and the show ends on such a sad note?

Having a main character die is always difficult- but so is having your life written for you. Graham has been an installation in this series since day one. Sometimes people need to move on and have new adventures. I honor Grahams journey with Ty by being grateful for what he has poured into the character long after the written books were lived out. Thank you Amber for being transparent and such a good story teller!

When I was 4 my dad dad falling to the ground from a heart attack. My mom became a widower at the age of 30. I witnessed my dad die, and rode in the ambulance while they worked on him. I think the show can survive, and I hope people can relate to it. I also hope they bring into the stories what their daughter is going through loosing her father.

I hope so too, but the first episode didn't make it seem that way, "Lindy couldn't be more happy" Lisa even said. But maybe her grieve will come through if the Spencer twins can act that good already. I'm not sure if they can. I mean... They are pretty young and probably don't fully understand death yet. I didn't at their age of 5 or 4.
I also hated that they didn't include Luke in this episode. He wasn't even at the memorial and that's just not honouring luke at all. But maybe the actor wanted to leave Heartland too, it kinda looked like it, as for he's leaving Heartland as a home of his to go live with his mom again. But they said he can come visit anytime and he said he will. And now... His foster father died and he wasn't even at the memorial? Very unrealistic and his death scene... I can't believe he's dead. The scene was so quick and you can't get the fully impact from it in my opinion. It makes it even harder for us viewers to accept that Ty's dead. Because you as a viewer have a wish that he didn't really die but just fell to the ground but gets up again.
And to only include the doctor's words what was the cause of death is just not great to see. If they would've shown Graham one last time in the hospital room and slowly passing away, I think I could get his death quicker. It still would be hard to accept that they did this thing to this beautiful, awesome character and to know he doesn't get to grow old with Amy and the rest of the Heartland family just hurts so much. But to not actually see him as the life goes out of him, makes it a whole lot harder. And it's already so hard to see a character who we saw happily for 13 seasons just pass on. And Graham already told Amber that he wanted to leave the show two years ago. But they didn't know then that there even would be a season 14, did they? That would be around January 2019. We didn't even see season 13 back then. I just looked it up. In January 2019 season 12 just started. Now I wonder, did they know the show's going to get a season 13 and 14 and who knows how many more seasons? And if they knew about Graham wanting to leave, why did they shoot a 14 season? I'm not sure if I want to see seasons without Ty. It just won't be the same ever again without Ty. Without the bond between Amy and Ty. They were perfect together. And a lot of fans loved their relationship. It actually is the only relationship we get to see being developed from teh beginning of season 1, from the pilot on forward. Everybody else didn't stay together for good. Only Amy and Ty. And now they killed Ty off. What good does that to Heartland? Killing off the future of the only relationship that was there from the start? I'm just so angry at the writers that they didn't come up with something better. And that they cut Luke out completely. Probably we won't ever see him again anyway. He's gone, just like Ty. And probably that wouldn't be the writers fault but it is their work we saw in this episode. And some parts of it were beautifully written, I admit that. But Georgie think she saw Ty and doesn't tell Quinn or Amy or anybody else about it... I hope she'll come to that pretty soon, hopefully the next episode already.
And I'm just so angry at Graham for leaving Heartland and getting his character killed. I really care about Ty! Even if he is fictionous. I do love him as a really kind person and a soulmate to Amy and just such warm-hearted person as he was. It's not fair.
But on the other hand I'm so grateful to Graham Wardle that he gave so much into this character. He played him wonderfully and I'll be forever greatful to him for that. I'm just so sad that Ty really did die and won't have a future. Amy already lost so much. First her mother as a teen which leaves her half orphan and now her husband which leaves her a widow at such a young age, like her late twenties. And now her daughter at the age of four is half orphan too? Like her mom? But even younger? It's not fair to any of these characters. But I guess death generally is never fair. But sometimes death can be a blessing for the living being who dies. But some other times death is just the cruellest thing ever.
So thank you, Graham Wardle for giving Ty your very best acting and such a lovely heart. Thank you for doing such a great acting job on him, so great in fact, I'm grieving over him and will really miss him a lot. I'll be forever so grateful for you bringing Ty to life. And I will always miss Ty for that. You actually brought him to life. Which makes it so hard to accept he's really gone, because you made such a good job on him coming to life all these 13 seasons.
Yes, very true. For example, after my dad passed away my mom has to take care of some things, so she took me to my older brothers house. When my mom came back, she asked my brother how I did. He said I cried to my doll. I think the could show some simple struggles she is going through by emotion, and then have an adult describe them. My mom tried to get counseling for me, but nobody would help. This whole thing on Heartland makes me want to see if I can get some photos merged of my dad and I to create the 1st time I was on a horse with my dad there at the age of three. My mom passed away this last July, from Parkinson's complications. It has been a rough 6 months for me, as I was her care taker for 5 years, and always her confidant. I think this new season within Heartland is doable, When Calls the Heart has survived.
Love watching heartland Love Amber and Graham they are such wonderful actors but should do miss him on heartland heartland just isn't the same without Ty & Amy being together

They didn't kill him he chose to leave. I saw a interview about 3 or 4 hours ago that he gave to his fans. I mean they did kill him off but it wasn't the shows choice it was Graham choice. So don't take it out on the show... Keep watching it is a good show. I'm so sad.😢
I am not blaming the show or the actor I did watch his video and I do understand. It has happened more then once on Grey's anatomy and I still watch it. I just think they could have used a better storyline. I hate that they killed him off.

There are different ways they could have written him off u need to watch Grey's Anatomy to understand yeah a lot of charactors died in the show because actors chose to leave like Graham did but some got a good send off. He didn't have to die to make a change. But whatever. I'm not gonna keep arguing over this. They decided to kill him off its done there is nothing we can do!!!

Amber u are a consulting producers help bring Ty back help settle the conflict. People die everyday we see enough of this sadness in real life don't heartland to show us this. It was sooo cruel and devastating for fans especially young ones could have written him off some other ways like other cast was written off not excited about watching anymore.
