Nice video brother. Cambodia needs to enforce criminal background check for sex offenders' pedophiles. We don’t need these visitors to boost our economy. Thank you for sharing.
Yeah, sure, like PP only has those karaoke bars filled with very young beautiful girls as nightly music teachers. They like to teach those business men to become good singers after a lot of alcoholic drinks.
Congrats....your video editing skills are getting way better with the uniqueness of you, along with khmer music background. Makes it much more enjoyable for viewing.
I know you’ve got a background story to your situation brotha. Hmong from America with many refugee uncles who fear a day of deportation. Much love to the Khmer brothers that have been displaced, but even better to see a brother making the best out of his life’s journey. Only the best wishes and hoping peace and love stays with you brotha ✊💯
Interesting video as usual. As a longtime visitor and resident I've watched the changes here, especially after the transformation of Sihanoukville. There are thousands of mostly single male retirees here, who enjoy a drink and some fun company. The bars give them some relief from boredom as well as employment for hundreds of young women. You'd be pleasantly surprised at how many friendships and marriages have developed from these encounters. "Sleazy" is a judgmental putdown of a valuable social service.
Thank you for this video, Savi. I was going to leave Cambodia 12/27, but I see Fish Island is having a music festival over the NY weekend. That might be worth a visa extension. :)
this video was a true jpurney and the hotels look a bit colonial like travelling in time. GREAT VIDEO DUDE! FAR OUT AS USUAL!!! hey what camera do u reccomend for vlogging? what set up? You got wet in the lake with Thyda, what camera did u use? please tell me about mic and other things u use.
Savi, have you ever been to Kampong Cham? I stopped through that town years ago when I was traveling Cambodia and ended up staying there for some time. I remember it fondly.
Keuy koh doesn’t mean dead end island, you’re thinking of thol. Thol means dead end, it mean the other side of the island. So treuy means the other side of the water.
Are the girly bars that prevalent now? I haven't been down since September of '19. I live in Siem Reap. I love it down there, but I first noticed the enchroaching madness from Snooky in 2016. I remember sitting by the river drinking a beer and watching the sunset with a local friend when a tuk-tuk drove up and asked if I want weed, coke, boom boom. I was shocked as I had never heard that BS in Kampot before. It had changed a lot between then and my last time in '19. I still will try to make it down on my next term break, but thank you for the heads up. Great video!
Would like to visit Cambodia. Not interested in girly bars though just to relax and take in the culture. Originally from the Fiji Islands so i do enjoy warm tropical climates. Just wondering how to make some connections before visiting?
Agreed. riverside, tourist area of Kampot is genuinely one of the most disgusting places I've been. Like half of the people living there are child predators walking around with 15 year old girls and harassing young girls as they walk past.
When I was there see a lot old white man with young girls lol but we pay $80 per night. The riverside restaurant is beautiful. They got the kids pizza 🍕 in 5min too
Sick video bong, I like the music.
Nice to know your standards of living. I will continue to watch. Great video!! 😊❤

Pp is the reason why I don't visit Cambodia in the past. Don't go to jail for such ill ones! Greetings from Germany

Kampot is the quite and calm place to live!
Yes, the foreigners love it here ;)
Kampot is the best place to visit
Drone shot in the beginning tho 🔥
Thanks for sharing your experience in Kampot. It’s informative.
Awesome opening shot and music !
I really enjoy your video and thank you for being up front and real.

This makes me miss Cambodia. My mom is from Kampot.
Nice contents. Very informative
More great content, this man is on a roll.
It takes me a little longer to make these but I have plenty more coming!

You should stay!

No I have not but I’ll put it on my list 😉
Nice background music sounds track, who's the musical artist? The sound of silence
It was a local singing at the FICAC and guitar player Julien Poulson of Cambodia Space Project
Kampot and krong kep is great! Well not the girly bars… but I really enjoyed riding the motorcycle around the villages and country side.
My mother's hometown. Can't wait to go back. 🖤

It's what Kek Soon told me...she lives on the island also one of the khmer ladies that works for me verified it...maybe you're correct I dunno
Nice dude! Any issue with flying the drone? 😇 ✌🏼 How about arriving at the airport with one, especially less than 250g?
no issues at all taking drone through airport

They all seem to be in that one location around the Old Market. It's almost like a more laid back version of Pub Street in Siem Reap.
How was it like traveling with your drone and camera?
No problems at all. Lots of ppl in Cambodia have drones now so it’s not as novel as it was a few years ago.
@saviyou thanks, brother 🙏 . I'm bringing my dji 2 and a6400.
My hometown ❤
Nice place ❤
Beautiful place and people.
You have beautiful eyes.

@@saviyou Any suggestions on where to join up?
Miss the city kampot. 🥰🥰🥰
Thank you..fc from ohio..I from laos..
Next time I'd like to visit Laos!
Oh wow! looks like kampot has changed since I was there. Hmmmmm
Nice video always nice to see different places, hopefully it doesn't get out of hand with the lady bars and sex trade , to me it would ruin the area
I don't know what will happen there but it seems to be a spot where alot of expats end up that don't want to live in PP.

That's a bummer. I had that on my visit list, but I don't know if I can handle seeing it going on and not say something.
@@sunbutma4285 as long as you stay away from Old Market area... Kampot is still a nice place. Plenty of great restaurants and activities as well.
Awesome bro. Me and GF there last year in September. Yup heaps of old white guys. Drinking them selves to death lol
You should go to Rabbit island and spend night over there.
I wanted to but not enough time :(
Sad to see that you don't feel safe taking video in your native country for fear of being hurt. :(
Maybe I exaggerated a little but some of the dudes there look really strung out

I really like riverside in Kampot, very nice views. I wish Battambang riverside was more like this.
@saviyou a few years back in battambang was a big riverside nite market but its gone now , I don't why ?
Greasy expats🎉
