Man, I got instantly irked by Old Moon's personality, I forgot just how much of an asshole he was lmao. Still the same jerk wallowing if self-pity and self-loathing. But I love that OM clearly doesn't hold Sun at fault for all of this, and says he could never apologize enough for how he treated his brother. He's an absolute prick, but he loved his family. I still don't forgive him, though.
I do wish there was some kind of...idk, pushback? from New Moon. Instead of just letting OM talk and take control of the conversation. Like Sun not being some of the first things he'd talk about, or smtg idk. But I guess instead of hatred NM just looks upon him with pity.
I can respect him being afraid of speaking with Sun due to not knowing how he'd react, but god-dammit I hope Sun goes and speaks to him anyway. OM can't and shouldn't deny Sun the chance to finally get the closure he desperately needs. A conversation between these two deserves an episode of its own, and hopefully someday we'll get to see it.
Yeah, I agree. Because the main source of all his trauma was the core root from the very beginning of Past Moon. And the Past Moon is right maybe Sun is thinking of risking his life for his family as the past Moon did. So I do believe instead of not only the new Moon telling Sun he should not risk his life or anything but also the old Moon to tell Sun not to as well.
However, I feel like Sun's words as a response to the old Moon would be like "I know... But I will" or something similar, and though I think Sun's death will be coming sooner than expected since he has been in most videos now. And not Moon.

YES! I've been waiting for Sun and Old Moon to have one last conversation since Moon put Sun in that box and walked away. It still messes me up inside that that was the last time they got to actually talk, and it was so full of sadness and anger and unsaid things.
Honestly, if I had the opportunity to speak with a previous version of myself that died, I'd probably have a bit of trouble speaking with myself too.
But I don't know, maybe she'd be better than me. Maybe she'd be worse. Maybe she'd be the idiot I was when I was younger, or maybe she'd be smarter, like me. Who knows what would happen? Not me, that's for sure.
@@BoxOKittens Definitely, I'm a bit upset that putting Sun in a magic box didn't really get addressed. It probably fell under OM saying he didn't regret protecting his family but... seriously? Even if it was to protect him, that was probably the one of worst things to have done in response to it and, if Sun gets to talk to him, they need to address that

I forgot how barbed Old Moon is lol his go-to whenever he's stressed or sad or angry really is to just be mean. It's obvious from his darting around he was a bit overwhelmed and so took that out on New Moon, it actually felt like how he talked to Sun back in the day.
I forgot just how DOWN on himself the Old Moon could be. I knew at the end of the day he loved his family, his brother, but was always sprialing so far down that he didn't protect them the way he should have. The way I wish he'd tried harder to.
At least he's finally able to say his goodbyes. Say his thank yous to the people he loved, who helped him, and who he never got to meet. I'm happy that he's as pleased as he can be with how the New Moon is existing.
Wonder what he meant by his last bit, about holding back? Wonder mostly what it means for us and the others.
Goodbye Moon. Rest knowing your family is in amazing hands.

Edit: That was emotional, very much so. I miss Old Moon, and he really doesn’t seem okay. But I’m glad he doesn’t hate his new self, reassuring him he was never inferior and that new Moon is the better version. It’s still kinda funny how he hates Eclipse, but overall, I’m glad they had this talk.

It kinda makes me happy that Original Moon is still on the beach, getting to be in the calming place, even if just when New Moon is talking to him
This episode made me feel so much better. Old Moon is exactly how I remember him but calmer. His regrets and troubles are all the same, and him not wanting to meet sun is valid, He's nervous about what he'd do not to mention last time they spoke he locked sun away in a box.
He's exactly how I remember him, and Current Moon handled this accurately.
This helped me feel content.
It makes sense why Old Moon feels that way about seeing Sun, but he knows how his brother is, so he should also know and understand that Sun really needs to talk to him if he's to have anything resembling closure.
I wonder if part of the reason Old Moon liked Kingdom Hearts so much is specifically because it was something he could share with Lunar to help deepen their brotherly bond...
That aside, his self loathing is still very clear, and it makes him be extremely hard on himself and shoulder more blame than he should. And, like, discounting the fact that he was a great brother to Lunar. Lunar loved him so much.
I am glad he seems to like what New Moon is up to, though.

I think Sun will cry when new Moon tells him what Old Moon said to him and it’s good seeing Old Moon again. He’s blames himself for a lot of things that he shouldn’t he’s too hard on himself. I hope one day Sun will get to see Old Moon again even though Old Moon doesn’t want Sun to see him.

Ok this was such a bittersweet video and man I didn’t realise how mush I missed Og Moons personality. He was actually the main reason why I got into the Sun and Moon Show (also got into it cause of the lore). Just his sarcastic personality was so funny to me especially in gaming videos
I also like New Moon too of course I’ll never compare the two since I like both of their flaws,quirks and personality equally:)

3. Their undying need to protect their family
I am so glad that old Moon told the new one about the possibility of Sun trying to give his life for Moon’s at some point down the line, because I _definitely_ think that it’s gonna be something he has to watch out for - especially when he’s even said before how he wishes it was him who died instead of Moon because at least he got a restart on life, whereas Sun has to live with the trauma of everything that happened.
I feel like it wouldn’t take much for Sun to throw his life away for his family’s sake, I don’t think he believes his life would be worth preserving anyway, if it came down to either him or one of his siblings, or even possibly to protect his cats if it really came down to it. He puts everyone above himself, thinking they’re more important.
This is a great video it's like the end of a story for Old Moon and a great way to end his journey as it begins a new story for New Moon as in a way New Moon was given the torch by Old Moon to protect and keep his two brothers Sun and Lunar safe and keep his new sister Earth that Old Moon never met himself safe too.

@rainpuppy14 If your talking about Solar, Old Moon never really met Solar at all and Solar as of right now is dead and Old Moon would want New Moon to keep his remaining siblings Sun, Lunar, and Earth alive and safe and if Solar was alive than him too.

Like I was happy that moon got to meet his old self, which is hearing him. Talk about sun just made me start crying for some reason.

Moon needed this. To meet the old him, and see for himself what he was truly like. Old Moon was certainly a jerk, and did a lot of horrible things, but up until recently that's all New Moon reduced him to: A horrible person who hurt the people he calmied to love
While he isn't completely wrong, New Moon needed to realize that it's not that black and white. That Old Moon truly, genuinely loved his family, and only ever wanted the best for them. Unfortunetly, this lead to him doing things that would end up hurting them. He regretted it, course, but the thing is, he was so caught up in his own anger and self-pity (which he still seems to be), that he believed he couldn't change. Despite that, he still cared about Sun and Lunar so much
Speaking of Sun, I really hope that he DOES end up talking to Old Moon at some point. So much of his trauma goes back to Old Moon, and Sun deserves to get closure from that. I really think it would help him in the long run

Lore!
After the FNAF security breach game Sundrop and Moondrop decided to do the impossible. He built a body for himself and separated from his brother when he did this he left a part of his kill code behind thinking that it wouldn't affect Sundrop, it did not affect Sundrop but it developed its own personality forming eclipse, Eclipse eventually burrowed into sundrops head until July 16th where it is believed he took out 12 kids a little bit after this event Moon drops started the sun and moon show as a distraction, maybe a bit of a coping skill for Sundrop. Sundrop and Moondrop started making reaction videos and playing games but things quickly got Sinister as eclipse started it again more consciousness and showed himself as a prevailing character soon Eclipse would start saying disturbing things through son eventually showing himself to Moondrop. As the year continued to go on Eclipse was planning something he had a new Target now, not just freedom, a device Moon had created to harvest the power of creation. soon in a hilarious episode of sun and moon show we see that Moon has a counterpart named lunar, his first words were tickle cuddlefish number 17, we soon learn more about lunars existence, Eclipse that made lunar to be his counterpart seeing how well sun and moon work together he assumed that lunar would be a good match but not before he tried to make someone else, we don't learn about it until very later on but Eclipse had tried to make a companion before lunar named blood moon his Pure Drive blood and chaos. Eclipse had been planning for a while torturing Moon drop in Sundrop for a while his plan got put into motion on October 1st, he trapped moon in his own head making it so anytime lunar who had proceeded take over the moon drop his body moved Moon drop would feel excruciating pain making it so Moon drop cannot Escape his own mindscape Eclipse took over son and they continued to go throughout the month taking over the show. At the end of October after Monty had had a talk with Lunar he betrayed eclipse, getting into cohorts with moon drop and a big battle pursued where they "killed" eclipse. Soon the blood moon became a threat going around causing senseless violence. Moon drop started to Tire himself out very fast has he went around what we can only assume the whole world looking for all of the clips backups and destroying them, his friend Monty eventually found him and forced Moon drop to take a break, little did Monty know that this would eventually cause some problems, in a episode that honestly gave me excitement and fear at the same time eclipse came back being quoted as "did you really think you could kill me that easily" giving the same Vibe as William afton's favorite line "I always come back" Eclipse built himself a body and eventually went into hiding but not before f****** with moon some more making his kill code come back, and now we have kill code who eventually partnered up with moon so that he would only kill bad people, God do I wish that Creator was in reach of kill code soon kill code God and cohorts with eclipse and blood moon proclaiming them as his children seeing as they were all made from a kill code, god dammit that was some Darth Vader s***. Oh and the Fazbear sent a replacement for sun and moon who they named "forkface". and now Eclipse out of a fit of stupidity decided that he would become a building, yes he became the computer systems throughout a building kill code eventually decided that he was done killing people and became good, blood moon eventually went off and faced Sundrop getting brutally blasted but now Sundrop haunted by his actions and blood moon started seeing him everywhere, blood moon continue to urge Sundrop to snap luckily Moon drop was there for Sun Drop the whole time, oh yeah and I forgot to mention call my moon drop just lost his whole ass memory so this ain't the same Moon drop we know in Sundrop is having a hard time dealing with that continuously scared that moondrop is going to revert to his old ways of being a "b****" soon we got a new character named Earth after the Creator decided to make sun and moon a more female motherly counterpart after being quoted as saying "you two give more of a creepy Uncle vibe" I love that for you Creator go get them, Earth shows up after a month because she got distracted frolicking through flower fields. We soon discovered that Moon drops friend Monty has a fat crush on her call Mom when I say fat is obese. soon something traumatizing happens a insane Maniac going by the name of ruin eclipse make sure to roll your r's with that one it's fun call Mom coming here to do one thing from what we and moon know kill the Creator, ruin is another version of sun and moon when they decided to fuse themselves instead of separate soon something called the ruin virus infected them from what I'm going to say and they became an insane British man, Gordon Ramsay would like you ruin. now something even more traumatizing happens lunar gets blown up while running directly towards Monty after he left trying to avoid all of the drama from Sun and Moon, holy s*** What is going on? Monty quickly went to his space base and try to recreate lunar, but eventually he had to leave space in hopes for lunar safe return as Eclipse threatened him, little did anyone know at this point being born in space gives you powers, I'm becoming an astronaut I want my babies to have powers but we'll get to that later. soon lunar was rebuilt son started to learn how to harvest star power and use it, in a beautiful weave nerd battle they fight eclipse and Son uses Kamehameha with the star power sending Eclipse to another dimension where he would be blown the f****** up. before Eclipse died he was trying to warn sun and moon about lunar and to kill him when he came back because of those magical star baby powers, we love that for you eclipse, soon in a heartbreaking video eclipse and a counterpart that I have not yet to introduce because I hate him named solar flare die, lunar comes back thinking he's going to have a good time, kill the Sands because he's going to have the worst time ever. in a trauma response to I don't know being blown the f*** up he started running around, walking and never stopping in a hilarious yet tragic video we get to see that lunar is a mentally traumatized and tries to suffocate himself me too buddy this is what happens when taxes come in, despite all of this Earth tries to soothe him, good Eclipse eventually decides f*** my world I'm moving in now we have a happy little family, oh wait it's not happy, ruin after escaping Moon's hold decided to rebuilt blood moon, in a hilarious yet traumatizing video blood moon comes back for reals this time confronting Sundrop and threatening to torture him, but saying that someone won't let him kill sundrop. Soon we get the October Ark after ruin tricks Moon into going away from the daycare to visit their creator, soon they come back to the daycare and find ruin. Moon drop being the genius he is decided to turn on the portal where ruin had planted the bomb which eventually ended up blowing up the daycare and transporting sun and moon into ruins Dimension being stuck there for all of October, we got some hilarious gameplay and some Sinister warnings in October the ruin and blood moon Ark, soon go to eclipse convinces blood moon to help him out so he could get out of ruins grasp promising him freedom, sun and moon will visiting the Creator in Ruins Dimensions steal the ruin virus cure. an epic showdown occurs after sun and moon make it through a portal back to good eclipse and now blood moon. and probably one of the best episodes yet blood moon gets caught with his shenanigans and gets paralyzed, sun and moon in an epic face off against ruin chase him around and eventually stabbed the ruin cure into him which ends up letting blood moon go, great we let a homicidal Maniac Run free good job eclipse. and now this is where we are lunar lost his voice. Sundrop Forest Earth to learn how to drive a car eventually ending up in her crashing it, she opened a bakery then got revenge on Sundrop for the car and Moon went missing and lunar's voices was broken and Earth turned normal size for a while and now Lunar's voice is fixed he was huge for a while blood moon attacked Earth killing them? we don't know yet and lunar lost control of his powers which he is now reasonably freaking out about be cas Celestial beings told him not to. So nothing happened to lunar the celestial being started draining more and more, and now eclipse is back again why does he keep coming back can you stop holding a William Afton please, So eventually they are all playing games and enjoying themselves, and now blood moon faces off against the Stitch raise I'm pretty sure he died not 100% on that, lunar eventually fully regained control of his power and then sun and moon start working with Eclipse trying to figure out who his creator was for created him again because they all mutually agree that whoever is making Eclipse again and again has malicious intent. Lunar killed the eclipse. I feel bad about the mental breakdown he had right after I'm still proud of him... Lunar is getting hated on so hard. Gemini is spitting straight facts right now and I'm not even mad at them lunar kind of just, I'm not saying what Lunar did is wrong cuz from a traumatized and abused standpoint myself I completely understand it but holy s***. Eclipse is back… again. Lunar and earth are still having problems but I can understand both sides, ruin is evil… and i'm not surprised solar is dead he destroyed thousands of universes along with solar so now solar is gone bye-bye. Eclipse got attacked by the evil Sun and everyone is traumatized, Moon is preparing to talk to his past self, and Lunar and Earth are dealing with something. I don't know what that thing is but it can talk…

I joined in the show late (and by late I mean near the character death arc where literally everyone was dying) and I never really went further back to watch other videos so all I had on old moon was clips and a few episodes yet I still teared up from this interaction. I love how awkward new Moon was at the beginning meanwhile old Moon just wanted to speed up the conversation lol.

Okay so past Moon slays, present Moon also kinda was just reconsidering the choice of being here in the beach and more than definitely questioning old Moon’s sanity and what they did to Sun and the others. Also I want to see Sun meet old Moon, even if he said he didn’t know how he’d react. Of course safety measures would be put in play based on what old Moon said about reactions to that, but Sun deserves some closure. Sun, I believe, still thinks he’s the sole reason his brother died.
