Pretty Much the MOST PATHETIC Surf Session of ALL TIME!!

Ahhh, the things we do to keep surfing every day. Thank god I have a sh*tty wave partner to keep me entertained on days like this. No one else bothers when the waves are this horrible, so we can spazz and yell as much as we want.
Sometimes crappy days like this have the most highlights. For example, we start with Travis picking his butt for about 5 minutes and then examining the findings. You know it's going to be awful when he gives me the Double-Fists to the Sky on pretty much the stupidest waves in the history of waves, but we're off and running.
For such a tiny, windy, bumpy day, there was a lot of yelling. If you're not going to get a good workout surfing, you might as well get a good ab workout yelling and laughing at your friend. My yelling and surfing were so bad around 1:30 that I annoyed a pelican, letting out a disgruntled bark as he flew away.
I get some great oohs and aahs from Travis as I do my awful three-butt-turn combo about 20 seconds later.
Despite my screaming encouragement and command to "STAND UP!" around the 2:05 mark, Travis can only manage a tiny Superman Paddle. He doesn't make that same mistake again, though, when at 2:45, I yell at him to "GO MEDINA!!!" and he turns on the afterburners to get a truly amazing breaker.
Also, as I've pointed out many times, Travis always copies me. His latest obsession is copying my kickouts. He tries it now ALL...THE...TIME. It's gotten to the point where I'm now self-conscious about doing my normal, everyday kickout, and I think I have to come up with something else. But, just to remind him who the OG Kickout King is, I bust a pretty violent one in front of him at around the 3:40 mark.
Beyond that, there's just lots and lots of yelling and spazzing and laughing. And occasionally, one of us gets an actually decent ride. So, maybe it isn't the most pathetic surf session of all time. Maybe....it's the bessssttttt...
Just kidding. It sucks. Special shout out to Luke, who joined us for a bit and did his Super Pump Into Faceplant to perfection.
