Welcome to Shipspotting Vietnam Channel,
Today, I bring you an epic ship spotting footage of massive waves crashing against the bow of a big WAN HAI Container ship. That was such incredible moments caught on river when a bigger container ship - KMTC SURABAYA closely passed by at high speed and her waves smashed to a smaller container ship - WAN HAI 285.
Both ships have modern designed bows to eliminate waves effectively, however, You will still deeply feel the awesome power of these ships' engines when the water was thrown up 5 metters ( 16.4 ft) high on the side of Wan Hai 285.
We also witness many ships in diffent shapes and sizes managinng the most dangours turns on the river here in Ho Chi Minh city.

Powerful waves, that is right! It does make it a powerful video.

Is this near Long An International Port!
Yes, it is about 20 km away from here!

@@RoderickJMacdonald I am sorry, this is Long tau River, Long An Internation Port is on Soai Rap River which is about 15 km away from here. This river can allow 40 K tons DWT container ship to go to Cat lai port, Cargo and Oil Tanker ships are about 55k ton DWT based on my observations!
