This is a surprisingly well made video, surprised from the aspect that it doesn't have many views. I think Athena's potentially infinite ammo is flawed, the reason being that you can make anything look good with infinite ammo, and thus what's "best" isn't always obvious.

Thank you for the comment. I don't see much of a problem with the infinite ammo concept. It only works in very specific places and you have to spend a lot of work and effort to work up to it. There was a reason I did this 999 stacks gunplay in EOS' playground -- it is better than the Sentinel fight by far.
It does not work very well in mobbing, where you struggle to hit 400 stacks of Maelstrom, and by the time you do, most of the enemies are dead anyways. Shotgun ammo is always at a premium, and a number of times I have ran out of it (this includes BL2).

Pick up a white rarity gun and shoot it, since you have infinite ammo you never have to worry about the dmg being low. This means your decision as to whether a gun is good is based purely on how fast you kill Shadow TP, and yet there are plenty of guns that are great for mobbing, but horrible for bossing.
Of course it's important to showcase the full potential, that's not what I meant, sorry for not being clear enough.
I've only struggled with shotgun ammo in TPS. If I need shotgun ammo in BL2 it's usually because I am raiding and I screwed something up (e.g. Terramorphous tentacles drop tons of ammo, but I forgot to go and grab some), but most of my raiding methods don't really incorporate shotguns except on specific bosses AND specific characters, or the classic I forgot to buy ammo at the start of a map. The latter frequently happens if I have save quitted and then returning to the game the next day or another point in the future.
