    You were wise to isolate the battery. Engine electronics could be affected during welding if your electrical system was intact. Thanks for sharing, btw.

    What did you do with your shroud since the lift?

      Good question, sorry for the late response but for those still wondering I cut the bottom lip off the fan shroud with a sawzall and re-mounted it in its original location.

    Although functional & a good build, you should've made it a couple inches taller so you didn't have to cut out the gap for the light. It would've been a much cleaner looking finished product.
