DIY Snow Machine - How to Make Snow
Просмотров 2,5 тыс.2 года назад
This video shows how to make snow with my DIY Snow Machine. This is something anyone can build given the right wet bulb temperature, and use to build a backyard ski and snowboard terrain park, or building a big sledding jump, etc. It works using a combination of compressed air and pressurized water to make a mist so fine that it is able to crystalize on its way down and turn into real snow. The...
ATV Snow Plowing with Sportsman 500 x Warn ProVantage 2022
Просмотров 23 тыс.2 года назад
Watch me work from my POV as I plow some of the sidewalks, driveways and a commercial parking lot I service with my 1997 Polaris Sportsman 500 and Warn ProVantage 54" Long Arm snow plow. The ATV snowplow is perfect for my needs, since my area averages about 2-3 snowfalls a season. I also like how nimble it is especially since one of my clients has only sidewalks and walkways needing to be clear...
4 Hole Injectors on a Jeep TJ

This goes over the install of 4 hole fuel injectors on a 1997 Jeep Wrangler 2.5, its also the same for the Jeep 4.0. I also go over the theory and benefits of having the 4 hole injectors. Where I got mine: www.ebay.com/itm/303264922891 I also used footage from Flame Thrower Injectors to demonstrate the difference between 4 hole injectors and standard fuel injectors. Jeep TJ Engine Swap
Просмотров 2,4 тыс.3 года назад
In this, I'm doing an engine replacement on my 1997 Jeep Wrangler SE 2.5L. I'm swapping with an LKQ rebuilt engine. This is applicable to the engine removal and install for 1997-2002 TJ's with the 2.5L engine, and 1997-2006 Jeep Wrangler TJ's with the 4.0L engine. This is also somewhat of a review of the ATK Remanufactured Engine. I haven't had any issues with it as of writing this, but I'll be...
Urban Sidewalk Plowing
Просмотров 9 тыс.3 года назад
This shows my 1997 Polaris Sportsman 500 ATV with the Warn ProVantage 54" plow (78954) clearing sidewalks for a property rental company in Richmond, VA. This is from a snowfall we got on February 12th, 2021. I also plow residential and some light commercial driveways with this same machine, but the ATV just eats up sidewalks like nobody's business. For this video, I just stuck the GoPro on my h...

Featuring the Warn ProVantage 54" snowplow on my 1997 Polaris Sportsman 500 and the Echo Power Sweeper. The 54" Warn ProVantage plow does what I need it to in residential driveways and commercial parking lots. Where it really shines is on urban sidewalks. The Polaris Sportsman 500 is just the right size for ATV snow plowing. The Echo PAS-2620 power head combined with the PAS ProSweep Sweeper At...
Warn ProVantage Plow on a Polaris Sportsman 500
Просмотров 92 тыс.3 года назад
This is my 1997 Polaris Sportsman 500 plowing about 3-4" of wet heavy snow with the Warn ProVantage plow system (78954). This ATV is just the right size for my snow plowing needs. Even with its compact size, it still makes quick work of residential driveways and even has some strengths over plowing with a pickup truck. I can easily get into tight areas of the driveway to ensure every inch is cl...

Pt. 1 - 5x8 Trailer Build from Ironton Frame
Просмотров 9 тыс.3 года назад
This video goes over the build process and transformation from a Northern Tool Ironton 5x8 Trailer-in-a-box to an ATV hauler that will look good going down the road. This is also relevant to building a 5x8 utility trailer since all of the mods are what you would do when building an ATV trailer. I added 14 gauge steel tread plate floors and upgraded to 15" wheels which adds ground clearance and ...

I have the same atv and plow and was wondering what lights you use?
Good video.. helpful. Thank you .. hope you’re well!
Hey bro, question even though these videos are a few years old, did you have commercial auto insurance for your ATV with the plow? I've been looking around to figure out a solution for that since most GL policies don't cover the ATV. Thanks
At my age I said I was done going out and shoveling snow, especially when a snow plow grader comes by and leaves a berm. This year I bought a new 2023 King Quad 750 and I'm installing all Warn equipment. Sure is nice to see these machines in action.
Camera movement is discombobulating.
Please join the rest of the world and go metric.
It just doesn't seem like the right piece of equipment for commercial use.
Where do you live that you can actually drive an atv down the street!!?!
Very well made and informative video. Greetings from a fellow Polaris Sportman 500-owner in Norway.
Hey how big is your plow
You have to slow down going up that trailer. You aren't jumping it, and those ramps are really steep. Nice and slow next time with the ATV in 4x4 and low range.
0:01 that’s what she said
Did you ever figure out a way to adjust the plow without getting off of the ATV? I plow residential driveways over in Midlothian va and have been trying to figure out how to do it for a few years now. Trying to figure something out for this year.
How many miles were on the engine when it failed? I have a 97 TJ 2.5 with 152k on it.
hey man great content, after 2 years do you still prefer the 4 holes? im going to clean my injectors and i found your video, so i want to know if its better to change to new ones
Well done! Bonus points for keeping it factory. Hope you got the cold start and oil pressure sorted. 👍
thank you , i was stuck on the inner side pole not lining up with the hole , i practically took the bottom frame apart, thinking I had them backwards , thanks for your video i will check out
They (Polaris) don't make 'em like the used to
Just pushing the snow to the side isn’t going to help you next time it snows.
This was next to no help.
How. Do you get away with driving on public roads
Another of places you can. Just requires registration and insurance like a car
Nice going
Got Rubicon 500 w 50 in plow. Works very well. Moving a foot np either
You mean 0- 2 inches..... We measure in feet up here.
I have been clearing snow for 16 years around several properties here in Denmark, but have never used an ATV to do the tasks, but I consider it a lot. I was almost certain that an ATV couldn't push much snow, but have now watched many videos and it seems to work
Pushes snow easily
Where are you located? Do you know what the water temperature was going into the snowgun?
Excited for the coming season
Hey what kind of salt do you use I’ve learned that if you use pet safe salt it works out for the home owner cuz it gets rid of the salt but also if a person with a dog walks by it won’t hurt the dogs feet
Road Runner calcium/magnesium
You think your Jeep only has a 1,000 lb Towing capacity? That sounds extremely low as most cars have more towing capacity than that.. my 2004 Toyota Corolla has a 1500 lb towing capacity
How wide is that blade?
Literally said it in the video.....54in
I’ve got some advice for you, you are doing a fantastic job but when you come up to the snow back start to raise your plow so it will ramp it, so when you don’t ramp it the snow back will freeze rock solid then you can pile the other snow from other snowfalls on it
Hi nice video...what kinda plow setup do you have on your atv
Great video. Just wish you could slow it down. It’s moving so fast.
What yellow shed is that
How long did this take?
Slow the F**k down
You can buy a boss plow and that’s hydraulically moves and makes it two different directions it’s a V plow and especially made for all models of ATVs
What’s the best way to find customers I own A lawn care and landscaping business and I recently got a Honda rancher with a plow on it and plan on doing snow removal
that’s so sick
How much do you charge for doing these kinds of jobs?
Anywhere from 60-200+
Fun fact: Polaris says that all their Sportsman ATV's from the 450 all the way up to the 1000 will plow the same amount of snow. Once the ATV size reaches the 450 it's not loner about how much power the ATV has, it's a matter of traction, and their testing showed that on cold freshly plowed pavement, the 450 - 1000 all have almost identical traction amounts.
Very interesting! So by that logic mine should theoretically be able to push as much snow as a 1000. I may have to test that out! I always thought it was odd that atvs now come with engines up to 1000. When mine was produced, im pretty sure 500 was the biggest there was.
Sweet set up my guy. If you don’t mind me asking how much do you charge for private homes ?
Thanks! The pricing ranges based on a number of things. Obviously the size of the area cleared is a big factor but also whether or not they want walkway clearing and/or ice treatment and how big those areas are. And then I have different pricing tiers for 2-6”, 6-12”, and 12+”. I might make a video breaking all this down but all this is to say it ranges and varies by snowfall from 55 for the smallest to 150 on an average snow event.
I was wondering what you charged for the first lot in the video?
180 for 2-6 inches
What was the bolt pattern for the tire spacers
The bolt pattern is 5x4.5, heres the link: www.amazon.com/dp/B07JH2N7MQ/ref=cm_sw_r_cp_api_glt_i_13XW4ZR27QCE50R9RK6V?_encoding=UTF8&psc=1

Good that you didn't get a lot of snow there, but I think your 500 could manage a lot more than only a few inches with wet snow. I had my 520 struggle a lot with more than a feet wet snow, but it's just fun
She was definitely a Karen lol
I wanna buy an atv and a plow. But it doesn't snow enough where I live to justify it. But the few times I'd need it would make it way more fun
Unless you have a long, narrow driveway, typically a blower is more effective. If the snow is deep and heavy, the ATV will struggle.
🤘 P_R_O_M_O_S_M!
Four wheelers are nice for plowing I got a 1996 Polaris sportsman 500 that I do sidewalks with and some driveways too
