Compared with the other version of this song, she pronounced the best. When you sing opera, the prononciation has to be adjusted to compromise the music.
I have new respect for this lady after watching her great 3 part interview with Charlie Rose, here, on the "tube." And yes. her version of this aria does remind me of Roberta Peters, whose singing I greatly admire. Unfortunatly, Ms. Peters' renditions have been taken down, with the excuse, "For private use only." That's sad, because if their ever was a reason for applying the "Fair Use" clause of the infringment policy, the musical education of the public and their prodginy should suffice.
