@@planespottingathamburg I'm not sure. It's marginally better than the previous 2 Circle K car washes that were plagued with constant problems, out of service probably 60 percent of the time. The current one is only out of service 40 percent of the time.
You can clearly see that this system does not do this for the first time. The right side brush is already bent very forward, you can observe that, the course of the left side brush. This is still straight. I think something will be with the CPU, or the track sensors sinf defect, which you can see well on the roof fan, there has been installed in the middle of a replacement relai with a bracket. Nice facility, nicer EpicFail 💪🏼
As a car wash engineer, nothing wrong with the wear on the brushes, gear box sounds ok too. The problem looks as if it’s brush pressure. Needs adjusting in the car wash CPU. The lifting pressure is a bit high, not getting out of the way fast enough.
Wow! What are the odds of that happening? Its a good thing the brushes stopped and changed direction when they failed. Not to mention that they were quite agressive throughout the rest of the wash and the right brush was worn towards the bottom of it. If i were you, i wouldn't come back. Nevertheless, great video!
This is rare to happen. Operator of this system doesn't care. Very irresponsible for customer cars. Side brushes are very loosely attached to the machine. What makes it much worse is, that the brush pressure is set to way too high. I will never come back to this unless they replace the whole machine. This was painful to watch.
You must be joking 😃The side brushes were super loose in the rail. The machine started to move forward BEFORE brushes had done their overlap motion. They are not meant to tilt so aggressively. Again they did it due to the loose connection to the rail. This machine had been scrapped a long time ago.
The side brushes doesn't seem to be attached very well 5:39 Look how the right brush shakes side to side It appears to be only attached to the side brushes motors! Wobbly!

I know this comment is 4 years old, but this machine doesn’t use sonar detection. From my knowledge of this machine it simply uses the amperage demanded of the side brush trolley motors to determine whether it’s washing the car or shoving the core into the paint. lol
Well this machine is in really bad shape. Owner of this doesn't service it at all. It does the job, but if you have new car with delicate paint this is going to scratch it due to the very aggressive brushes. However for my old car it's better than leave my car dirty. For being "very worn" that thing surprised me with how nice the car came out afterwards lol. But also very scary, I'll stick my hand washing. 😅
That right brush pressure is insane. The core that holds the brushes is scarily close to the car
Yes the brush pressure is way too high.
I think this car wash needs new brushes. But I saw worse than, this in Hungary yesterday a Christ C115's drier suddenly torn down.
Please tell me you got that on video PS if you did can please send me the link?
