    English Translation:
Calumny is a little breeze, a gentle zephyr,
which insensibly, subtly, lightly and sweetly,
    commences to whisper.
Softly softly, here and there, soft-spoken, sibilant,
it goes gliding, it goes rambling.
Into the ears of the people, it penetrates slyly
and the head and the brains, it stuns and it swells.
From the mouth re-emerging, the noise grows,
    gathering force little by little,
runs its course from place to place,
seems the thunder of the tempest,
which from the depths of the forest
comes whistling, muttering, freezing everyone in horror.
    Finally with crack and crash,
it spreads afield, its force redoubled,
and produces an explosion like the outburst of a cannon,
an earthquake, a whirlwind, a general uproar,
    which makes the air resound.
    And the poor slandered wretch,
    vilified, trampled down,
    sunk beneath the public lash,
by good fortune, falls to death.

Peter, hello! I accidentally saw your reaction to Dimash's speech. I was deeply impressed by your professional literacy, the subtlety of musical nuances that only real vocal personalities are able to understand. And after watching this performance, I sincerely got into you! God grant you good health, a great long successful creative activity, continue the work of the great Bass of the twentieth century Fyodor Chaliapin! You are very respected and loved in Russia. Sincerely, Roman.

This was one of my father)'s favourite arias in that register... You brought me back in time, and revive a number of sweet memories. 🙂
Thank you a lot for that. 🙂
He would have liked your performance... And so did I. 🙂
It's very nice that you share these performances of yours. I like to see you in this particular context and listen to your singing, and as far as I can understand your performance is pretty good. I'd like to see you live, but I'll have to wait until you come touring Europe, and particularly Italy... 😅.
And it's interesting to try to identify all the various "techniques" that you use in the kind of performances. What muscle you use when, how do you achieve that "projection" (likely to be the wrong term, technically 😁🤦🏼‍♂, but that's what I have...), pair postures and gestures with voice emission, that kind of stuff. Very very interesting. 🙂
    Thank you for sharing.
    See you next time!

There were three basses I listened to that reached a higher note at the end of that aria: Sam Ramey, Paata Burchuladze, and Marcel Journet, who I view as my idol along with his protegee, the great basso Ezio Pinza.
Speaking of Journet, I recently made a video from a separate YT channel:ruclips.net/video/AacDrzmTGkI/видео.html along with a few on my end in this channel. I was wondering if you have a viewpoint of him. He had the most beautiful bass voice, like those of Ramey, Pinza, Siepi, and yourself, that I ever heard. He was a rival to the great Russian bass Chaliapin and they were both the first two most, prolifically recorded basses in the 78 era. But like Ramey and his protegee Pinza, Journet was able to sing both bass and baritone roles. However, he was heavily involved in the Wagnerian repertoire singing heavy low bass roles until he sang Wotan in the ring cycle, which was suitable for his voice as I quote "a rare example of the classically defined bass-baritone." He was an influence and idol to both bassos Pinza, Nicola Rossi-Lemeni, who brought Maria Callas to work with conductor Tullio Serafin to sing at La Scala in the late 40s, and Samuel Ramey.

    Livello artistico scuola media .

      Saluti cordiali

@@bodiloto I understand that my technique is not perfect, and I'm training every day to improve it. But to say I have the training of a middle schooler is both rude, and incorrect. You also haven't heard my voice in person, and as someone schooled in the singers of old, you should know how much difference that makes. Administrators, singers, coaches, and teachers from major opera houses have heard my voice in recent months, and believe that am either a bass-baritone, or lyric bass/basso cantante. I find I'm most comfortable singing repertoire for true bass. So I ask, compare me not to Siepi, Pinza, Ghiaurov, and Ramey in their prime when I'm just 30 years old. Check back in with me when I'm 45 or 50, and we'll see then.

This type of music is too boring and out of date I´m afraid. The singing is way too polished and old fashion. Music has evolved. The diction also suffers severely from the shouting technique trained opera singers are using, especially the sopranos diction is utterly bad and hardly can be understood, even when sung native language, a pure fail, at least if you want to deliver a message.
