Ik this sounds weird but it’s so cool to see Logan’s spending habits change. Ik it sounds like mean or weird but it’s not. I remember your first cash stuffings you were always putting 80-200 dollars on his envelope everytime. And he’d always spend it all. And seeing it slowly go down and him wanting his own categories to save for stuff instead of spending his money immediately just makes me happy. Idk why lol
I wasn't too familiar with his spending but I know what you mean! It's because it's a physical proof that cash stuffing works! My partner was exactly the same way. Would always spend his personal spending really fast but I argued, it's his money he can do what he wants with his personal spending allowance. But over time, he's been wanting to spend less to save up for more meaningful things and it's awesome to see that this method works.
I believe this is it: www.target.com/p/sharpie-3pk-felt-marker-pens-0-4mm-fine-tip-black/-/A-14463207 It bleeds through a little bit on the aesthetic dollar budget binder inserts but not on cloth and paper inserts
Hey Ana! New Subbie🎉. Great video. I just started my RUclips channel to help hold me accountable and stay organized with our budget. I am loving this community soooo much! ❤ Looking forward to following along in your budgeting journey. 😊
Aya, I subscribed to your channel because we have the same aesthetic. It would be much appreciated if you had time to explain it to me. This cash stuffing flies above my head, tbh!! I pay all my bills digitally, so I am trying to understand how I would benefit from having cash around to pay my bills. Since most people in the Western world would be like me, I need help understanding the intent of these cash-stuffing videos. I must be missing some brain cells! ps: what colour is your C&P binder? looks gorgeous!
I cash stuff my bills so I don’t spend that money. If I leave it in my checking account, I’m more likely to swipe my card and buy things. Having my bills money in my cash envelopes allows me to make sure I don’t spend it on anything else other than the bill that it’s for. A lot of people don’t like to cash stuff bills because they are mostly all automatic payments and if you cash stuff them, you have to go to the bank more often to deposit that money. I don’t mind that, it’s personal preference. My cloth and paper agenda is in the color Ash
