Kraftwerk S2000 Ribbed Belt Conversion kit...Finally!!

- 11/2/20 We initially launched a pre order for our BALLADE S2000 KRAFTW SC KIT RIBBED BELT CONV.
To all the Kraftwerks equipped S2000s out there, we have made a ribbed belt conversion to the Kraftwerks S2000 Kit. On track the Rotrex blower has been known to seized. The current cogged belt system is so strong, that when the blower locks up the belt will not break causing the engine to stop abruptly. Since the blower is married to the crankshaft via belt, this can damage your engine from the lack of oil pressure. We decided to make an 8 ribbed belt system to ensure no boost slippage, but have more of a fail safe in the event if the blower failed. The ribbed belt will break first keeping you motor alive. This kit includes: 1 Serpentine Belt, 4 idle pulleys, 1 Crank pulley, 1 Supercharger pulley. Pulley sizes available in 100mm and 90mm for the Supercharger. Recommended Ap1 use 100mm, Ap2 90mm. Replacement belts can also be purchased separately.

Thank you to all of you who have pre-ordered, we are sorry for any delays but we wanted to make this as perfect as we can. The kits are nearly ready, but we are stopping to hard anodize all the aluminum pulleys to ensure LONG LIFE duration. Bearings used are Nachi Japan brand bearings, same company used by Honda for clutch bearings. The pre-sale is still on going and you can get the early bird discount $100 off the kit until we release. Did you take a page out of TTS' book? TTS Rotrex kits are ribbed belt driven.
The idea came from the V8 supercharger community. Yes TTS offers a rubbed belt for $2000. We offer this for current KW owners for $699.99
@@BalladeSports Oh ok. Its definitely something all KW owners should look into since those blowers really aren't robust like Paxton/Vortech type blowers are. Ribbed belt system seems to increase reliability as seen on TTS kits. On a side note, I'd like top praise your online shopping experience: I bought an ACT HD PP for my AP1 which will be Vortech supercharged soon and your price was better than most plus shipping was quick! Keep it up :)

Did the install of the supercharger required trimming the steering rack bolt?
I know it's being 3 years . but where can I buy this , I am afraid my dog belt will snap . please help.

How do you go about tension now? Not so loose also not so tight like the original instructions or?
Same as the original KW kit uses the manual tensioner with the bolt and locking nut.

Agree. I sold my KW kit a couple years ago because I couldn’t take the whine.
Horrible experience with these ballade sports pulleys. had to change my belt 3 times . Had to change pulleys 3 times . All in a span of 4 months and bare put 1k miles . Car is a weekend car and had to deal with so many issues . Until supercharger gave out a few months later . I feel that these pulleys prevents the supercharger from flowing good . At the end of the day I should have stuck with the original pulleys and belt
Sorry we tried to fix a horrible Supercharger Kit. We didn't put you in this situation, KW did. We are a victim just like you. But 10x times more than you. Please give the blame evenly if you think that is fair.
I would give it evenly , but when trying to get help from you guys all I got was “ we have too many cars so we can’t accept any cars”
But at the end of the day it was a lesson learned . And had to convert it back to NA
@@S2kedwinn Sorry we are on an international level with products selling daily. We are extremely busy now. We don't even take any service work because of this.
You win some and lose some. With you we lost. It is what it is.
I have one question, and this is what we saw many times before with this kit. How do you know your supercharger blower wasn't damaged to begin with, and then expected our kit to fix the blower? We have seen this already happen where people had damaged blowers from KW original pulleys, then change to our kit, unknowingly with a blower that spins slower from damage, now puts on our pulley kit and belts breaking because your blower was already on the way out? I know this because it happened to me, and others also. But its cool. Blame us. Doesn't matter Rotrex Sucks, Doesn't Matter KW sucks, You spent way more with them than us, but Its our fault. Sorry. @@S2kedwinn Tell you what. Check out our Ballade GT35 Bolt in turbo kit. Made by us, not fixing someone elses junk. We offer titanium piping. Its been extremely successful and we have had many people successfully installing and running for long periods with out issues. If you like it and maybe thinking about it, let us make it up to you on the pulleys and hook you up with a killer deal. We have a DIY video we made installing on our channel. We made this turbo kit specifically to battle the damn KW kit!
