YES, I caught it early, so, I wasted no time here. But, the description did read, “ simulation”. That caught my eye.
This video game is for idiots. A plane will fly to the territory of the big country to attack the missile launchers lined up? 1. There is only one precondition for the plane to fly into the territory of a big country, that is, after the big country has surrendered. 2. The characteristics of the missile launch vehicle are stand-alone and maneuverable. In the absence of war it is impossible to have several vehicles in a small area, let alone gather within a few meters. 3. There is no air defense system in the location where the missile launcher gathers? Even if the enemy planes attacked, didn't they get shot down immediately after firing the first shot? It's totally impossible.
这个电子游戏属于给傻逼玩的。一架飞机会飞到和大国境内打击排成队的导弹发射车？1,飞机飞入大国境内只有一个前提，那就是这个大国已经投降后。2，导弹发射车的特性就是单机，机动。在没有战争时都不可能几辆车在一个小地区的，更不要说在几米内集合了。3,有导弹发射车聚集的位置没有防空系统？就算敌机偷袭了，开了第一枪后没有立刻被打下来？这完全没有可能性。
Why they keep making these computer generated simulation videos is totally beyond my understanding. The real scenario in Ukraine is much too serious to trivialise it with childish games.
With as many bombs as I've built as Marine Aviation Ordnanceman, to include missiles, rockets, and aircraft guns, I NEVER got to take out one single SCUD, SAAM, or even an a Taliban ammo bunker site. It's just not fair.....

All this is computer animated and not actual AC-130 gunship footage ! Fun to watch if you are a video game freak, but it's like peeing in your pants, it give you a nice warm feeling and that's about it. LOL Defence Review is all about computer animation .... crap stuff

It's circling at high alt and far enough away that nothing this bunch has could range them.Since the program first stsrtec in 1966.....only 1 has ever been shot down.I believe it would have been in the Balkans civil war that the US and us were stupid enough to send boots as part of the UN contingent....we ended up, unknowingly assisting Molosovitch in covering up his attempts to murder an entire small town and bury it....But yes you sure can tell this is a game....And played by people that have no idea how the military operates....it's about as exciting as World of tanks,no strategy,no brains just a boring pissing contest.....If this was real, Most of those shots would not happen.25mm depleted uranium cartridges are very costly,so targets of opportunity would only include troops if necessary or required.Not to mention EVERY soldier is consistently trained on how to fire 3 round bursts,no matter what they are using... including the 25mm Gatling Gun...The Bofors would be a more logical choice.Better ordinance,range and accuracy.

I dont remember which Call of Duty game this is. But it's from 1 of them. I remember playing it with a buddy. Plus, when you drop ordinance on scud missles, they don't collapse, they detonate.
This isn’t COD. It’s Arma 3. But I know what you mean. That mission was a game changer. Was COD Modern Warfare I believe.

We use those more for shock and awe. They're not as effective as several smaller ordinance dropped in succession. In a situation like the game footage here, it would take so long for the debris to clear it would obstruct the view of new targets.

The AC-130 doesn’t do so well in defended airspace
From one boomer to another: I'm just spit-balling here, but I'm guessing that's probably why we use faster attack and air superiority jets to blow everything that flies out of the sky and disable most, if not all of an enemy's early detection equipment before we send in the AC-130's.

@@VeLocity.mp5 Yeah, just before the end of the overlong title, right where the default cutoff happens on most (afaik) mobile browsers ... intentionally so, given how it doesnt appear FIRST (where it should be). Ever think about THAT ?
@@RovingPunster Mate if you go on a video with an "overlong title" and not read the full tite expect to be misinformed. Tho i must agree that the video has an overlong title but it just aims to get views and not to disinform anybody.

Also, simply saying they do not want to disinform DOES NOT make it so IRL, and smacks me as disingenuous given the great efforts involved with making the simulation footage look as real as possible. The more real it is, the more likely it is to confuse those who dont know its just a simulation.

It has at best IRCMs to include flares. It’s stand-off nature is enough.

It’s not the game doing it, it’s the player targeting the enemies incorrectly. This is more of a player-related matter than the game.
