My grandmother was also involved in romance scam thank God we found out in time before it got worst Mr. Snow help tracked down the scammer and retrieved what ever she was scammed of..
I would not fall for it one way or another. No such thing as easy money. Use logic If it sounds too good to be true it probably is. Then the person loose money, I never Lost a cent.. Will never fall for a scam too

a friend of mine just fell victim to this.. the problem is no matter how many vids we send him, how many sit down talks we have with him, he still suckered into it. still giving more money, waiting for the money to come, via mail, they sent him a picture with 50K in a box with his address attached.. that was 7/11/24. as far as we know, he is out approx $6K . but he refuses to accept he's been had. according to BBB/FBI, 3rd party/friends can not file a complaint, only a "cooperating" victim can. not much more we can do.
I just got scammed out of $2600 because of this from the DHHP Program and I have been working on this case for 2 years police department can't do nothing about it and the FBI over charges $1500 just to start the case and more after that

Someone call me Mark Henry was talking to me today about grant I told him I don’t have money to send he said give him my fb password so he can make sure no one else collect my check it’s someone I know personally and claims I can cash my check at walmart I didnt

I just got got by them I sent $450 yesterday and then they turned around and asked today for 1200 more for the certificates to be delivered for proof of they sent pictures and everything don't fall for it like I did
damm my dad almost fell for it but i told him it was a scam and the guy started using his religion saying im a whatever to god and i cant lie some bs ya the is dumb and he kept sending fake photos and i kept calling him out for it but he insisted its “real” so i called the government saskatchewan thay said it was a scam also thay told be to report the guy to the rcmp so i did and thats how my dad managed to keep his 1000$

@@FusionDeveloper exactly....that is how they got my sister...for $6500 bucks....yet the cops or nobody can do anything about it....right. Thats gotta be great for fb...they get to keep on allowing thieves to run on the platform ad do their damage but they police us who might say one word wrong. They are as big a a scam as the scammers.
Or use plain common sense & logic. There is No, I repeat Mo Such thing as a easy way to that amount of Money If it Sounds too good to be true It probably is & another thing Don't be Greedy. Money causes a lot more stress then it does. Why I hate Money.

i've been aproached 5 times from 5 different people who used my friends names and pictures. it was unsucessful, i didnt fall for it
This was just attempted today to me. I was able to connect with my family member and she confirmed it was fraudulent.

That happened to me in uk. Luckily I didn’t fall for it and contacted the person who had been hacked! She had no idea.

I fell for this scam because I was in college, living on my own, and the scammer impersonated my aunt. I lost all my money through cash app.

If Facebook doesn't care about your security, then stop using Facebook.
I stop using FB about 8 years ago, and now i feel better than before
They hacked also one of my friends try to convince me but when i ask them to reply in our native tounge thats the time they stop.
