@@Zephyrui948 I feel like games should give players as much freedom as possible, especially in these kinds of games. If it breaks the game, just hide the option behind a "developer mode" in the settings or something like that. Often all it takes is changing a config file anyways
I've been playing since the previous playtest and I'm so glad Asmongold decided to put a video out on it. This game is absolutely cracked out of it's mind, easiest 10/10 game I've played since Elden Ring earlier this year.
Going further in the video, Graycen really comes off like the little brother that is trying his hardest to feel like he's contributing to the big brother's game. "I'm making you invis!" at moments where invis is pointless and they got a good kiting going on, really kills that synch. Same with buffs at regular skeletons, so much he needs to meditate in every room. He is perfect for Ranger. Where he calls out for things is perfect as a ranger's job. He doesn't need to call out attacks with that too, just shoots.
Wizard requires immense skill and the only things they offer is dps buffs like ignite and haste. And aoe for spiders and such. Which because they didn't look or change spells/abilities till mid game, made the wiz (which desperately NEEDS gear) feel useless. Hold up I am meditating.
Love this game so much. Brings me back to Ultima Online, where you finally get full gear, then go lose it in a troll cave to some rogue who was hiding in the shadows.
@@LivinProoof I am on a hiatus right now, but only because the meta of the game is not fun. If you're a casual (as in you don't have 25 hours a day to play) then you stand little chance. Everyone has a crossbow (which you have to find in the dungeon, or buy with money you've made escaping), and it's just a bunch of crossbow battles. If you don't have a crossbow, you won't be able to close on anyone. The ranged damage needs some major work. The content of the game itself is still VERY fun. Go in with your gear, maybe die to some monsters, maybe die to some people, and your gear gets *yoinked* by others. They just need to heavily work on balance. It currently feels like Dead by Daylight, where the geared person is the monster, and you're just a peon, playing like a rat, hiding in corners, just to make it through, while the geared folks just storm through casually.

Now days if you run into a group, they will likely all have xbows (or at least 2 of the 3). From my experience, they're usually all kitted out in purples and +weapon damage gear also. The game became less about tactics, and more about how can I approach this room to get the best shot off.
Goes to show who plays dnd. Rogues are back line Flankers Ranger are back line, track players and set traps at flanks Wizards are back line buff for fighter, clerk, barb and range dps, stealth buff for rogue flank Clerk should be tank and heals and kite so that rogue can flank with fighters and barbs. Etc etc
The timing on "McC: Ale?... Asmon: don't use it, it's useless... McC: Ok, sure.. Asmon: Ok, right, i'm gonna use it", is hilarious. I know Asmon means something different with him using it, but the timing is impeccable xD (1:25:06)

This game was so fun to play, everyone should try to request access on steam. They run weekend playtest here and there, so if you were interested in trying I would definitely go for it! It's a little janky atm but still really fun because of how the gameplay loop is. When you die you still have your base items and what not, you just lose on the loot you were picking up. Game has a lot of potential if they change a few things around regarding the portal extractions, solo queues/group queues.

My favorite part was when the rogue turned off the torch and stealthed, you literally ran into him that was part of why you had to jump to squeeze by that area when looking for him xD

Duude cleric's best skill is the judgement it's almost does %75 dmg to a rogue the guy is who playing cleric need this at q skill and ranger's 3 arrow is giving really good dmg. Also u can use campfire to heal and reload cleric's heal skill etc.
At least he's doing more than walking and left click, asmon didnt click his abilities and right click even once in three fucking hours yet graycen at least figured out meditation and spells, while asmon gimped the whole party. If only he figured out the campfire, McConnell could refill his heals too. Asmon was a serious ball and chain here lmao.
The only thing i'd like to see in this game is being able to queue for solo vs solo, bigger maps and maps that randomly generate to keep things interesting and fresh.

Played this game myself while watching them play I love it and cant wait to see what they do with it going forward I would pay for it now as is

At least he's doing more than walking and left click, asmon didnt click his abilities and right click even once in three fucking hours yet graycen at least figured out meditation and spells, while asmon gimped the whole party. If only he figured out the campfire, McConnell could refill his heals too. Asmon was a serious ball and chain here lmao.
Please for the love of all that is good, play this game some more.

The only thing i'd like to see in this game is being able to queue for solo vs solo, bigger maps and maps that randomly generate to keep things interesting and fresh.
