    This will be my second 3d printer and both my first core xy and klipper machine. I don’t know if the company offers free shipping, and if they did, I would just buy this and if it doesn’t turn out as expected, I will buy the adventurer 5m. However, I would still like to know which one you would recommend between this and the 5m, mainly in terms of smoothness of the part and its accuracy/ ability to print tight tolerances. From what I have seen in the 3DprintSOS video, the tx tops the 5m by far, but when I looked at other reviews, the 5m seemed to have really good quality and the tx seemed to have a bunch of z wobble making the prints look really bad. I loved the video by the way keep up the great work.

    hi i want to get into 3d printing and I don't live in the us so I can get this for about 641 dollars including shipping and tax or I can get the flashforge 5m (not pro) for 530 dollars in my country but I don't know which one I should get because the tx is closed and has a filter and the m5 isn't closed without a filter and I intend to put it in my room and I don't want the plastic particles in my room but I don't know how bud it really is so what would you recommend ? or maybe other printer maybe

    • @mojee3d
      @mojee3d  29 дней назад

      It depends on the filament you’re going to print with. If you’re only going to use PLA and/or PETG, I may go with the 5M. If you want to print more higher temp/strength materials like ABS/ASA/PC, then the enclosure would be necessary. The filter is a nice addition as well as it helps filter out the smell and VOCs from filament like ABS.

      @@mojee3d the tx is closed and the 5m isn't and I want to put it in my room where I sleep and it would maybe be bad for my health if it isn't closed because of the burning of the material and the tx I would get over sea and the 5m from a store in my country so if I would have a problem then maybe the tx company would get me trouble ..... so what do you recommend me to do ? and I still don't know what materials I will use. ill use ut for mainly basic staff like toys and helpful stuff for my house not too complicated staff

    Have they always had $100 shipping cost or did they do that when they saw demand for it?

    • @TheJediBendu
      @TheJediBendu 2 месяца назад +3

      Shipping cost was apparently free before, but yeah it's $100 now. I think the Infinimech was an obvious choice before that, but now that the overall cost is within $100 of printers like the enclosed 5M Pro it's not a clear winner.

    • @mojee3d
      @mojee3d  2 месяца назад +1

      @@TheJediBendu agreed. Originally, shipping was free so it was just $299. However, for me, even at $400, it’s worth it. You definitely want to look at all printers in the price range with similar features before making that decision for yourself. The Flashforge 5m Pro is a great machine but is definitely more proprietary than the Infimech, so whichever is your preference there. Also, the Qidi Q1 Pro may be an option at only $70 more.

      @@mojee3d Are there really any printers that are as reliable as the Bambu Labs printers. I'm just used to not having any problems like I've had with other printers in the past. I really hope to see some competition for Bambu Labs but so far I don't see it except from maybe Prusa which are overpriced.

    • @mojee3d
      @mojee3d  2 месяца назад

      @@joeking433 the Bambu machines print well and can be reliable. I think most machines that have come out in 2024 are for the most part, reliable. My Qidi X-Max 3 has been equally as reliable as my P1S. The Flashforge 5M Pro seems to be another very good printer and so far, the Infimech TX has been as well. If the Bambu’s are working for you, nothing wrong with sticking with them. However, if you do want to try another machine, there are plenty of good options.

    completely remove hotend before attempting to change the nozzle, heat break is thin as paper...it will snap!!.

    This or A1 for my 1st printer?

    • @mojee3d
      @mojee3d  2 месяца назад +1

      Tough to say. The A1 has a little bigger build volume but the Infimech is enclosed and open source. I guess it depends on your use case. What is your main goal for the printer? Is it just a tool for you or would you like a machine that you can upgrade and play with?

      I would 100% buy a Bambu product if price is equal. The A1 and A1 mini print quality is absolutely insane not even by bed slinger standards, just by 3D printing standards period. Had an A1 Mini and upgraded to an X1C after messing with a Sovol SV01 and Ender 3 V2 and I'll probably never venture to purchase from another company again if Bambu stays on their current path.

      I think the enclosed 5M Pro is likely a better machine. However, this over the unenclosed M5. For $299, this is a very solid choice.
