Very informative sir.... column are cranked opposite to achieve hinge action so that the floating column only allows to transfer axial force and not moment and beams are given sufficient depth to avoid punching failure.
Inspirational video, i never seen practically floating column with transfer girder. Just studied in books. But this video makes lot of sence to me brother. Thank you brother Thank you so much 🎉
Very informative and friendly explanation, lovely attitude from engineer. As a civil engineer I feel proud to say your channel is a reference tool for me and your the voice முடியுமே literally sounds energetic and giving confidence towards work 🤝🏼
Very Informative video. Thanks for bringing that. Is the building structure also designed for seismic loads along with gravity loads? As per IS1893-part 1-2016, there shouldn't be any vertical irregularities present in the building like floating columns when designing a structure for seismic effect. Please clarify. Thanks
the beam reinforcement is not parallel and its like one end is at the bottom and another end is at the top of transfer girder , can you explain why it was designed in this manner
Hello sir, even in normal columns, joggling is not advisable, but this way of floating column (the X portion) shows extreme joggling, how is this good?

Bro, one doubt. In fixed beam, end and span moments varies but why the reinforcement is same in both top end and mid bottom.

Informative sir. Wondering about 4 floors column load carried by single beam. Need any side face reinforcement above 2 feet depth of beam sir?
Sir roofla water tank load eppadi kodukkalam

Thank you sir 😊
4:56 is that concept of moment release on secondary beams ?
No. that is normal detailing when secondary beam meets a main beam.
Thanks bro ❤
