Ah yes I do remember the historical figure, Lord Chad of House Chadson. A classic story.
I remember the story of him and his wife Lady Stacy crushing the great Incel rebellion of 1604.
Correction. Chadson is probably a patronymic (a son of Chad), the house is called O`Chadenn and so is his last name.
Ones of my favourites

While you were correct with Max, Maximus, and Maximilian, Maxwell is actually Scottish and derives from the phrase Maccus's Well, or Maccus's Pool. Over time the name became shortened into Maxwell and has since become the name of a fairly famous lowland Scottish clan, Clan Maxwell. Its use as a first name is derived from that I believe, or at least with my own name it is.

Ariel is Hebrew for Lion of God or something like that.
Ariel is one of Gods Angels.
I've always liked that name, unfortunate that I forgot to mention it, thank you for mentioning it.
@@Fireoflearning Ariel has always been a predominately Male name. When the flim came out it changed the perspective on the name Ariel being a female name even though its unisex.
It also means Light of G-d. From the Hebrew word אור "Oar" which means Light.

Another uber-interesting video. I thought that a 'few' popular names were Celtic in origin -- until watching this video I didn't realize just how many are Celtic in origin -including the first or middle names of people I know....
I always thought that Louis came from the latin name "Clovis" that sounds more like Louis and from a latin origin, but in spanish we also have Ludovico, i believe that one resembles more Hlodowik
They are all related. Clovis, Ludwig, Ludovicius, Aloysius, Ludaigh, Lewis and so on. There's typically a lot more variations in a lot of languages than can be fit into videos like this. So I don't know if Hlodowik is the original because I know it's related to Clovis.

When your name is made up...
And doesn't have a meaning...
🤦🏼♀️
It could have a meaning, our daughters name is a combination of parts of 2 words which mean "Great miracle". Break your name down and you could find the meaning or check other languages. Example: SMITH
