For some reason this has become popular outside India, im guessing it's because a lot of Punjab people go abroad. Unreasonable vegans would find this distasteful but assuming all the ingredients were ethically and locally sourced, more level headed vegans who are usually taking a stance against factory farming would probably be fine with this.

That's cus most of the "Indian" food you get outside India is from the state of Punjab ( which is one of 29 states) ex : Naan, butter chicken ( most Indians don't eat this). For some reason this has become popular outside India, im guessing it's because a lot of Punjab people go abroad. Every one of Indian state has different food and this particular one is probably from one of the states in South India.

Maurice Gatdula Depends where you live. In Toronto there are many South Indian and Sri Lankan restaurants that is what type of style they cook. Certain stuff they cook are Kerala food as well I think. Just google South Indian restaurants in maps and check if any are close by to your area :).
