i have a 5T since 2017 , yesterday i change the battery following the instructions from your video and also the bettery charging stripe, thank you. The phone works perfect again like new. Its a great device even now on 2024.

Is it true that after changing battery OnePlus have showing zero charging the service centre in india told me that they have to update the phone after changing battery and all deta will be gone
@@DIYGeardo it is an A5000 but I did find another video that does have it. There's 6 screws that you need to remove at the bottom of the phone to remove the ribbon cable across phone to free the battery
One question is I do have, is that does the phone need a SIM card to connect to the internet or did I break something? The phone won't connect to the internet
@@praveenpagalavan4438 It depends. Because the heating issue can happen for other reasons too, Ex - OS (specially new updates ), Board, Charging (cable quality), Hot weather, and many more

This instruction is bad, Do not use metal pry tool, u will scratch the body.
Well it depends on how you do, yeah always good to use plastic one. But if you need more strength, then the metal pry will be good..
