IMHO the best way to hunt houses in Bengaluru is to hire a bike for a day or two and look for To-Let boards. I have stayed in an apartment as well as used the services of NestAway during my first year in Bengaluru. As of today, I pay 11K (unchanged for the past 3 years) for a 2BHK unfurnished flat which is located at a very good location in Whitefield. The only downside with these houses is the lack of elevators. Only apartment buildings have elevators, not independent houses.
What's the location? Is it possible now to get such flats in Whitefield?

@@koushikkn127 Newly built 1BHK flats in independent houses were charging for as high as 12K in 2019, the year I was searching for flats in Whitefield. Lowest were ~7K but they were too small. Newly built accommodations will always cost you more.
One thing that I have noticed while searching for flats is that most of them will not have a proper hall (H in BHK). Landlords will tag flats with no hall as 1/2BHK. That was eye opener. That's not the case with flats in apartment buildings, obviously.
A couple of months back, I enquired about 2BHK flats in immadihalli and they were anywhere between 11K to 14K.
As I have suggested in my original post, It's better to search on your own. You never know when/where you can get a good deal.

Well.. idk if you noticed, but you two guys at 7:55 were sitting on seats reserved for ladies (red seats) in the bus. Just be careful, once one of my friend was shouted by an aunty for sitting there.😂 Even if the only seat available in whole bus is red one , don't sit there, it would be humiliating.😅
For busses which are not color coded, the seats which are between the entrance gates are for ladies, the behind the gate ones are reserved for handicapped. The very first one is for conductor and the ones between ladies and gents are for senior citizens and the rest are for normal males, everything is labelled as well in kannada & in english.
This is for BMTC, the city busses in Bangalore

If your looks are decent and humble, soft spoken and dignified, then you won't face any problem in getting proper accommodation. If your looks are like crooks then face the homeless situation forever or be ready to pay exorbitant rents. We also have houses on rent but our preference is how good is the tenant than how much more he can pay. Hope those homeless house hunters learn the cues of appropriate behaviour to please the house owners in order to get houses on fair rentals rather than paying extra
Finding a house in Bangalore is so easy bro . Get into any street you'll find 4 or 5 houses empty. But flats in Bangalore central are costly, flats which are 4 to 5km away from central are affordable

@@abishekkumar316 i live in jp nagar 7th phase . Almost 1km from jp nagar metro station. Rent for 1bhk is 8k and for 2bhk 13k . My cousin is actually selling his flat nearby metro station for 55lakhs 3bhk

@@ajjum6121 hm. But the rent in Bangalore central will cost 15k for single bedroom and 25k for double bedroom. And also 3bhk flats starts from 1cr in central so if you want to save money stay 4 to 5km from central

It can go as low as 8k and as high as 26 k too.
