Damage to a mailbox is a federal offense and the Post Office takes a very dim view of anyone damaging their property. Even though you bought it, it still belongs to the Post Office
Actually, the picture included means the mailbox was on the street and is in fact a hazard. Aaron could be held liable for all damage caused by it. Aaron is so pigheaded he needs to move it into a proper place where it is not a hazard.
@@Northstardim The picture is a dramatization lol, but even if it is directly at the street he is in his right. My mailbox sits on a 3 inch concrete filled pipe at the edge of the street on MY property and even the town plow found out the hard way to stay away from it. And yes, the town tried but failed to have me pay for the damage to the plow..
Not just cameras, most of us don't sanitize the letters we get, so, if there were a few trash bags opened in Aaron's front yard you could bet there was probably a letter or flyer with Randels name on it.
I believe that this is a fake story. The instant this Randall fellow voiced his disdain, I would've put up a security camera. Also, why didn't he install one after his first mailbox was destroyed? All I'm seeing is a lot of "Well I suspect Randall of ___________ (fill in the blank) but I have no proof." It took a ton of escalation from this Randall for him to FINALLY install cameras. If he had done this in the beginning, his problem would've been resolved a lot sooner. But that wouldn't make a good story, would it?
What a drawn out nonsense, the fist time this happened I would have installed a video camara and after the next attept of damage all would have been over.
Undeniable proof...that would be his truck crumbled up in front of his mailbox. Call the police. End of story at 7:24. After that it's just plain stupid. Thumbs down!!!!

@@Northstardim Noticed that too lol!

After the second destruction attempt, security cameras should have gone up immediately.
if this story were real the guy would have been arrested right then and there for tampering with federal property.
I have a mailbox that is bulletproof. Somebody smashed my mailbox so I rebuilt with 6 bags of concrete. It is still there 10 years later
The first clue Randall was stupid is his choice of vehicle, Ford.
Even at the 24:00 mark, Aaron has not yet installed cameras. Determined to extend the story to 46 minutes. LOL
No camera after 5 incidents?
This is the story of 2 idiots.
Not very bright, to wreck your own truck over a mailbox.

People seeking their idea of perfection seem to be the ones who lack the ability to be childish, in action thought, and reactions.
Put up video cameras
Look for any mail with the A HOLES name or address on it. Instant evidence.
why didn't he call the police to begin with and install cameras
Good another "mail box of doom" inbound 😊, even if from comments AI created.
Set up a video camera or a trail camera.
if he has to stay 100 yards away, the area must have really big front yards, it a fun story however,
Why wasn't Randall arrested for property damage not a very realistic story

Might not be US
!

The photo shows the mailbox installed into the road a few feet out from the curb. That’s asking to be hit
Why is the mailbox in the street? What crap. FAKE.
Yep. More AI bs.
Rural areas allow mailboxes at the street. The house I grew up in was 2 miles from the mailbox.
Cameras duh
