- After two Central Kentucky women claim they were assaulted at a resort in the Bahamas over the weekend, they are thanking a nurse practitioner from Arkansas for being by their side in the aftermath.
Amber Shearer and Dongayla Dobson told LEX 18 on Tuesday that they made a stop on Grand Bahama during a Carnival cruise over the weekend.

Thank you for covering this story with the respect and serious attention it deserves. It is not safe for many women to vacation in the Beach Belt of the Islands and in Belize and Other well known places. Unfortunately the predation of women continues and America women seem to attract a lot of unwanted attention in places like Jamaica, Caribbean Islands, South America etc. You SHOULD BE ABLE TO ENJOY DRINKS AND FUN ON THE THE BEACHES WITHOUT BEING DRUGGED - - ACOSTED - - or OTHERWISE BOTHERED WITH - - -But the REAL TRUTH IS THERE ARE MANY MANY Cruise Ship Sx Assaults - - MANY MANY Expensive Resort Guests Assaulted - - It is happening all the time and there is little recourse in another country. After holding the accused for 126 hours and reviewing the surveilance videos and "evidence" the accused were RELEASED WITHOUT ANY CHARGES.

@@carolwilliams894 that’s exactly what I thought at first too, but after looking into it further I’m sad to say that, at this time, pending any further developments, it actually does look like these women may not be telling the truth…😕 And believe me when I say that was NOT a conclusion that was easy for me to come to - in fact I had already begun writing an angry comment on another video in response to what I thought were misogynistic attacks on two SA victims, but as I continued watching, all the evidence seemed to back up the resort’s claims while poking holes in the story the women told, and tho I obvs can’t be sure they lied, it’s rly not looking good right now…

I enjoy watching her videos but she does tend to be a bit biased, which is understandable for a former prosecutor and staunch victim’s advocate like she is, but can also be a bit problematic when she’s covering cases where there are a lot of unknowns or facts in dispute.
When it comes to this case tho it’s like the more I watch/read, the less I’m sure of. So much conflicting info, and while I did initially feel the evidence was pointing towards the women being deceptive, I think that was likely premature of me so for now I’m gonna hold off on forming an opinion one way or the other until more concrete facts/evidence is released, and until then I’m agnostic/undecided (lol not that you asked to hear my whole thought process or anything, derp 🤦♀️)

Americans spend a lot of money every year vacationing at these popular foreign vacation spots yet in the last 3 years Americans have been the main target of vicious attacks at these spots with little too no help if anything happens. Once the money stops following then a change would be made.
What makes it worse is that the rest of the world doesn't even hide how much they hate Americans, including other western (Marxist) nations. As much sense as it makes to not do business with those who hate you, that for some reason ends up being hard to do.
People should stop spending their money at such islands. Either visit a US territory, or stay home.

Of these fatalities, 66 were crew members, and 557 were passengers. Moreover, 87% of the deaths occurred while on the sea, while the other 13% occurred while the ships were docked. Statistics also show that 97 passengers and crew members died due to cardiac incidents, 72 died due to accidentally falling overboard, and 60 died due to jumping overboard.

A 2 yr. RN is ADN or ASN and a 4 year is BSN. Nurse practitioner is APRN or NP. There's also LPN & LVN.
