Thats funny. The most human of Rudeus's wives is the only one who literally has no human DNA in her. Something that I remembered reading in the web novel is when all four of them were drunk, I think it was Elinalize that pulled Rudeus aside to ask him to go with Cliff back to Millis to protect him and Roxy made a comment about Rudeus cheating with Elinalize saying that "cheating is bad. You're only allowed to cheat with me." Shows she really was completely okay with him cheating on Sylphy with her. It broke my heart and made me feel sick to think about Roxy when Pax described how she sighed when he finally mastered Intermediate level magic. He was so excited to show her that. I hated Pax at first. But honestly, Roxy completely ruined his life and was a huge part of the reason he jumped from the castle balcony. But at the same time, Rudy then ended up being the one that saved her from her own crippling depression by basically telling her to learn from her mistakes and do better next time. I do not think she will ever treat a student that badly in the future again now. It seemed like it helped her to grow as a person.
Well put! If you think about it, it takes a lot of mental fortitude to basically have driven one of your past students into suicide by being such a bad teacher but STILL continuing to teach and improve at it.
You missed at least one more significant thing about her. In terms of crappy behavior. If Rudeus didn't basically force her to teach him the lightning thing he might have died a few times. When I think about it, it's not a good look knowing your husband gets into a lot of trouble where he is risking his life, and you refuse to teach him for selfish and egotistical reasons. Something that can save him. This is unfair to Sylphie though. She is certainly "believable" and realistic(character writing is one of the best things about MT). People for some reason have a tendency to equate bland, shitty or mundane traits to "more realistic". Probably insecurity. See a "good" person - "oh that's not realistic". Sylphie has a lot of depth as a character, probably pretty easily the most out of the 3. A lot can be said there. And Sylphie also has her own flaws, though probably the mildest ones in comparison to most MT chars. Almost all characters in MT have significant layers and aren't one dimensional.(can't judge side characters much) I don't have a strong opinion on Roxy though. Knowing a few of the things she's done, perhaps I should view her more negatively. But meh. She's ok. It's hard to even have a strong opinion about her due to her character. It probably makes sense. But certainly the most bland out of the 3. It fits her character of wanting to settle down and live a simple-ish life though. Eris is probably the simplest one(or most straightforward) of the 3, but still has great qualities. Unconditional love, passion, strength, dedication. The way she is straightforward and wears her heart on her sleeve can also be endearing. Not here to break it all down, would take too long. Any of the 3. Sylphie... really embodies femininity. Nurturing, understanding - but can also stand firm when necessary. Hard not to say she is best girl. Still love Eris. Roxy... she's alright, but there is really no logical argument to place her above the other 2. There are tons of top tier characters in MT, so that alone is not enough. Will be interesting to see it unfold visually in the anime. Come s2 and onwards. Overall nice video though.
You do realize that the "a Water King is Born" chapter happens **BEFORE** Rudeus gets dragged to the front lines of the Dragon God vs Man God war, right??? At this point in history, it wasn't clear that Rudeus was always risking his life. The very fact Roxy decided to cave, and give in, despite the fact she didn't want to, shows how much she loves him, as she was willing to give up her last shred of pride that she had worked so hard for. The entire reason Roxy left Rudeus in the first place was because she was humiliated by Rudeus's genius, and she wanted to go out and grow and differentiate herself (just like Eris). After a great deal of effort, she finally managed to reach King Tier, and Rudeus wanted her to give that to him, the very thing she reached for to try to feel like she was on more equal footing with him. Eris would never have done that; handed all of her hard work to be his equal to him on a silver platter. This was an epically huge sacrifice on Roxy's part, to teach Lightning to Rudeus, and she did it BEFORE she knew he really needed to know it. Roxy, more than any other character, was willing to sacrifice herself for Rudeus. Like the deep important pieces of herself, not just her life (which she tried to do, and which Eris did in the original timeline, and which Sylphie wasn't tested on, though Sylphie did leave him for Ariel in the original timeline). Roxy and Eris both went out to grow, to try to be Rudeus's equal. Both as much for their own sense of pride, as anything else. Though ultimately Roxy gave all that effort back to Rudeus. Putting herself right back where she was before she went off to gain that equal footing. Roxy also sacrificed years of her life, resources, and effort, trying to find Rudy and his family, for his sake. Her first time with Rudeus was a real sacrifice unlike Sylphie's or Eris's. Sylphie was trying to fix Rudeus, but at the same time, she thought he was her's. Sylphie said, "we're lovers, this is our problem." So of course Sylphie would try to fix him. For Roxy, even though she was also trying to fix Rudeus, she expected to be discarded afterward. She expected she was giving up her first time, to hopefully bring him back to the land of the living, with the expectation that afterword he would return to Sylphie, and that she would probably never get to speak to him again. Compare that to Sylphie who said she would pick Ariel over Rudy (and even did so in the original timeline), and only changed her mind on that **AFTER** she had accomplished her goal of putting Ariel on the throne. Both Eris and Sylphie accomplished their life goals (Sword Master, putting Ariel on the throne, respectively), whereas Roxy gave her greatest life defining accomplishment to Rudeus. (In fact, it's worth noting, Sylphie was willing to risk Rudeus's life to accomplish her goal of putting Ariel on the throne, so if anyone deserves shade for being selfish, it's Sylphie.) All of the girls are special, but Roxy really does differentiate herself, if you pay attention.
I think Roxy is a great character and certainly not the worst girl, neither in the story nor even among Rudeus' wives. (Not gonna say who I consider to be the worst to not trigger anyone) She's different, she inspired Rudeus to start living his life, she was there when he needed someone the most and she's neither super confident nor over reliant on Rudeus, she feels like the most human of his wives to be honest. And I think it's that humanity that may make some people like her less than the others. Also I don't agree with some points here, I think her character was misunderstood both as a wife, teacher and mother and somethings out of context may make her look worse. Pax was rotten to the core and hearing his side of the story shouldn't be enough to feel sorry for him, who's to say Roxy's poor job wasn't because of that? There's also a very particular scene with Roxy Rudeus and their daughter which I won't spoil but you can tell she's as good a mom as Silphy, sometimes when a character is written as an introvert you need to make an extra effort to understand them. Just going by his wives, there's one obvious candidate that's worse than Roxy, although I didn't read the extra materials yet so I can't say how she compares in terms of motherhood and to be honest I don't remember many interactions between her and their children. Out of the "main" characters, I guess Norn or Ariel are the worse.
Norn being worse is kind of a bad take. If anything, Norn was the most human character in MT. She was surrounded by world class geniuses and mages while being a normal girl herself trying to keep up with them but ultimately living in the shadow of her world class mage brother and a genius half-sister.
2:12. Roxy does like Rudeus very early on. Rudeus told Roxy he liked her, and she told him, "in ten years, if you still feel the same, tell me that again," Roxy could have just shut him down, instead of encouraging him like that. To say nothing of her giving him one of her very few family keep sakes when they first parted. Then as if that doesn't get the point across, she writes him a BOOK in her own spare time, which she's not getting compensated for, to teach him the Demon God language. Like seriously, a freaking book man! She also takes the time to teach him all about her own tribe in detail, as though she thinks it's especially important for him to know that. Additionally, it's pointed out, by Roxy, how similar both Rudeus and Pax are, in that they both try to steal her under garments and peek on her when she's undressed, which somewhat endears Pax to her (because he reminds her of Rudeus). However, Roxy immediately is lighting Pax on fire for this, which she never did to Rudeus (because Rudeus was protected by her own affection). Then she immediately throws herself into looking for Rudeus's family when the displacement occurs, and the whole time, that's exactly the way she thinks of it, "Rudeus's family". Not Paul's family, not Zenith's family, not the Greyrat family, but Rudeus's family! She's giving up years of her life, putting herself in harms way, at great finacial expense, to search for "Rudeus's family;" she did that for Rudeus! While she's doing this she runs into Elinalise, and it turns out that Elinalise is going to go meetup with Rudeus to let him know they had located Zenith. Roxy becomes concerned that Elinalise is going to put the moves on Rudeus, she wouldn't care about that if there wasn't an attachment there. It's at that same point, that Elinalise tell's Roxy, when you see Rudeus again, make sure you "go hard" for him. Because Elinalise knows that Roxy is in love with Rudeus, even if is she doesn't want to admit it. This is why later Elinalise says she's not going to touch Rudeus, because she wants to keep her friendship with Roxy. We also know Roxy and Rudeus are fated to be together, as there was nothing the Man-God could do to keep them apart (despite his trying at least four times). We also know from Orsted that Roxy doesn't get married in any timeline where Rudeus isn't around. That is to say, she never marries anyone but Rudeus in any time line. I guess you could say Rudeus is Roxy's "soul mate," in the most literal sense. All of this is completely leaving out the events of at the Teleportation Labyrinth, and Roxy's willingness to risk her own happiness and sanity to rescue Rudeus's. Also regarding Roxy's sense of romance, it's simply seen differently from the other two. For instance, Roxy dedicates herself to studying magic circles to support Rudeus. This is a multi-year long extreme effort on her part. So it's not at all like she's just sitting on the couch, teaching at the school, and living her own life with no thought of her role in the family. 2:43. Roxy being pervy is actually something she has in common with Rudeus. We're not talking about whether "you" like Roxy, but rather she's a good match to Rudeus. She's also the same age as Rudeus, which puts them on equal footing. 3:33. You definitely need to defend this position. The material made it clear that Rudeus had given up on living, and was on death's door. They had a very long and dangerous trip ahead of them to get him home, and they needed his support to get them there. Roxy isn't a psychologist, she didn't have a big bag of fix him up tricks to fall back on, she knew what kind of danger Rudeus was facing, she had a game plan she didn't come up with, but was hatched by three other people. She offered Rudeus a number of other options before she offered herself to him (**AFTER** he grabbed her), and even other options after that. This act of Roxy's was an act of self-sacrifice. Even though she *may* have enjoyed it in the moment (maybe, though he was EXTREMELY rough with her, and it was her first time), she knew there was every possibility she might be discarded by the person she loved. Roxy's worse case scenario here was getting pregnant, and then being told to hit rocks, and basically destroying her relationship with Rudeus when Sylphie forbid them from seeing each other ever again. Imagine a pregnant heart broken Roxy who can never again talk to the man that she had given so much to, spent so many years and so much effort trying to help and protect. It's heart wrenching, and Roxy would know that was a very likely outcome, but she risked it anyway, to bring Rudeus back from the brink because Elinalise refused to do it, and she felt she was the only left who could. 5:08. I could write just as much about all of Sylphie's flaws you seem to not be seeing. All of the girls have their strengths and weakness, they are all very well written, and very believable as characters. Listening to your analysis, you seem to clearly have a strong bias in your thinking. For example, you have completely misrepresented the information you presented regarding Roxy's first time with Rudeus. Such as saying Roxy "forced" herself on Rudeus (when he grabbed her first, before she told him it was ok, and then offered him other options as well). You also position it like it was her idea, and that she did it because "she wanted to sleep with him," and she just was "guessing" it might fix him. Even though, it wasn't her idea, and she did everything in her power to get someone else to do it. Moreover she expected to be discarded afterward, even telling Rudeus it was ok for him to discard her, and she knew what that would cost her. Also, if you still think she had some mustache twirling motive, I'd invite you to remember that Rudeus offered to pretend to be Roxy's lover for the rest of the trip, and despite the fact she thought the idea was appealing she declined the offer. Not the action you'd expect from someone who was exploiting a bad situation, like you are suggesting. If Roxy is going to take advantage of a broken Rudeus to sleep with him, why not accept his offer afterward? I'll tell you why, because Roxy had already gotten him on his feet, and she knew the more she invested, the more it would hurt when she finally had to let him go.
I think it's fair to say that early on Roxy's kindness is more out of respect and the position of being a teacher to him, less that she's romantically interested in him the first time they meet. I do also think your position is a fair one, but I would say it makes more sense that she moreso developed these feelings for him after he continues to grow and improve himself. There's a lot to be said about how far Roxy goes for Rudeus's family during the mana disaster, but also mind you that she feels very indebted to them for hiring her as a teacher and treating her so well. She was allowed a place and a community that really valued her, which made her feel a lot better about herself and how others view her. It also put to rest her tons of fears about not being able to find work in Asura. I think it is perfectly reasonable for her to do all this platonically, but yes she is indeed a very good person for it. "2:43. Roxy being pervy is actually something she has in common with Rudeus. We're not talking about whether "you" like Roxy, but rather she's a good match to Rudeus. She's also the same age as Rudeus, which puts them on equal footing." I am talking about whether or not I like Roxy. The video is about what makes her a girl that the audience likes or dislikes and how much of her charm gets through, "best girl" etc. This video is not about whether or not she's a good match for Rudeus, clearly she is. They get married and have a good relationship. As for the stuff about Roxy taking advantage of him or not, it has been a minute since I've read that section, but I recall the story going a fair bit in depth to portray it as a mixed bag. Roxy outright says that she had ulterior motives for saving Rudeus there, so you denying that is contradictory to the story. It is intentionally painted as a morally grey and weird scenario. It's a little bit up in the air on whether or not Rudeus can truly consent, I see it as kind of being mentally ill and not properly able to make decisions, similar to the insanity plee etc. It does not really matter but I think it's better that it's not cut and dry like you seem to want it to be. Roxy mostly wants to just save Rudeus, but also admits that she wanted to do this and had ulterior motives. It's much more interesting and nuanced than if she had only wanted to save him and it didn't matter to her at all, this is a much more human thing from her. It shows she's a very real person and has some flaws as well. This is not a bad thing. Sylphie definitely has flaws but I think they are much less pronounced and largely follow romance tropes. I do agree that all of the girls are well-written and believable as characters, I even say as much. I don't think I particularly misrepresented the situation, as Roxy does quite literally say she partially took advantage of him and had ulterior motives. She tries to deny his offer afterwards because she feels that even if what she did was justified, the "right" thing to do would be to leave and not butt into his marriage. I'm sure she also feels guilty and that what she did was wrong to some degree, regardless of whether or not it is. I think this says a lot to the point of her feeling like she exploited him somewhat. To what degree is up for the audience to decide. This is all subjective analysis, so I wouldn't worry so much about my biased viewpoint as we're all looking at it through different lenses. That's why it's a really good story, because it allows us to do that!
@@sevennights6377 Emotions aren't black and white. I've had a lot of teachers who respected me, not one of them wrote me a book, or dedicated years of their life to fix a situation for me. The fact is, Roxy had a deep emotional attachment to Rudeus early on. She may not have seen it as a romantic one, but she also didn't rule it out as a potential future event. It was clearly moving in that direction. That potential only became more clear as time went on, to the point Elinalise steered clear of it, and tease Roxy about it endlessly. I've had relationships that started out platonic and turned romanic, and they were all the more powerful for it. Roxy does feel a great sense of kinship to Rudeus's family, as she said, a "second family." But this is often how good marriages are born. You aren't just marrying the person after all. ...and again, every time she talks about them, it's through the lens of Rudeus, he's clearly the primary attachment point. The idea that it's perfectly reasonable for her to do all of this for "platonic" reasons is a non sequitur. As though this is a matter of platonic verses romantic attachment, like one is stronger than the other, or one invalidates the other's existence. This is simply showing the sheer depth of attachment Roxy had for Rudeus. The exact nuances are bound to develop over time as circumstances do. The simple fact is that Roxy made utterly herculean efforts on Rudeus's behalf on repeated occasions. I doubt you know anyone, who has done for another, half of what Roxy did for Rudeus, I certainly don't. Though perhaps you're caught up on your comment about how Roxy had "no romantic attachment until she was rescued from a dungeon." I think she was trying to avoid it, but as I've point out, the emotions were clearly ambiguous on that front prior to that. Otherwise, Elinalise wouldn't worry about maintain her friendship with Roxy, and Roxy wouldn't have balked at the idea of Elinalise getting with Rudeus, if Roxy's feelings were "merely platonically." All of this is prior to the events at the teleportation labyrinth. Though on the flip side, Sylphie, the "perfect girl," didn't show any romantic feelings until after she met him again in Ranoa. Second time meeting in person (Ranoa) verse second time meeting in person (labyrinth), looks pretty even there. "I am talking about whether or not I like Roxy. The video is about what makes her a girl that the audience likes or dislikes and how much of her charm gets through, "best girl" etc. This video is not about whether or not she's a good match for Rudeus, clearly she is. They get married and have a good relationship." If that's your desired context you lost sight of it, because you talk about her relationship to Rudeus on multiple occasions, about how they aren't "soul mates" and aren't "star crossed lovers." So it seems Rudeus's perspective is actually rather important, as he's the other side of the relationship being discussed, not you or the audience. It's like you have a one dimensional decoder ring that you're trying to apply to a multidimensional character. Just because Roxy had many feelings about a situation, and not all of them where altruistic, does not mean her only motives were selfish and that the altruistic motives did not exist or weren't primary. Yes, Roxy told Sylphie, after the fact, that she did have ulterior motives, which Sylphie said she wouldn't believe her (Roxy) if she said she didn't have any ulterior motives, but Sylphie also said she would have done the same in Roxy's shoes. So Sylphie recognized the selfless part along with the selfish part and still sided with Roxy. And if you're going to harp on just that one scene you're throwing the baby out with the bath water, as most of the context is established before that scene. And to be clear, I'm not trying to paint Roxy as a saint, I'm simply pointing out the way you positioned this scene is not in character with the way the book positioned it. The fact you are putting so much stock in what Roxy "quite literally said" shows you really don't understand the characters in question, or Rifujin's writing style. All of the characters quite literally say (and think) things that are profoundly unfair to their respective positions all the time. That's a reoccurring theme of the entire series! Roxy is being self deprecating as she's trying NOT to manipulate the situation. She's trying to leave Rudeus a way out. If Roxy was all about getting laid, she would have taken Rudeus up on his offer to pretend to be lovers until their return. If Roxy was trying to corner Rudeus into marrying her, she wouldn't have agreed with Norn and got up to leave when she (Roxy) was accused of being shameless. People who are shameless don't act with shame when confronted about it and then back off. Like seriously, you need to pay attention to the context clues and the subtext of the situation. I'm sure she does feel at some level that she took advantage of Rudeus (though I think she is also intentionally over playing it for his sake), and I'm sure because she loves him, that transgression, no matter how small and insignificant, feels planetary in her mind, as she wants to give Rudeus perfection, as all lovers do. However the simple facts are: Geese, Elinalisa, and Talhand are the master minds behind the "someone needs to sleep with Rudeus plan." Roxy didn't even know what they were talking about, and they had to break it down for her. Roxy tried to talk Elinalise into doing it, as she (Roxy) didn't feel her body was appealing enough, and didn't think she would succeed, especially where she lacked experience in these matters, and she knew Elinalise was an expert, and she (Roxy) cared more about the results than the experience of being with Rudeus, even to the point of watching her best friend bed the man she loved right under her nose. But Elinalise couldn't do it, as it would destroy her relationship with Rudeus, and with Sylphie, and Rudeus and Sylphie's marriage (which would put Rudeus right back in the same spot), as well as the fact she promised before hand she wouldn't. Roxy did NOT seduce Rudeus or take advantage of him. Even Rudeus said it was completely his fault and not Roxy's (since you're a fan of what the characters actually say). Roxy started out offering to go shopping with him. He shot that down. Then she tried to relate to him, talking about how she knows what it's like to lose a close one in a labyrinth, that made him mad. Then she move behind him, and wrapped him in a hug, and explained how she loved his family, and how she thought of them as her second family, and how that was the first time she felt happiness, and thus she was feeling the lost with him and so she could help carry the pain he was feeling. She went to move away, and Rudeus grabbed her arm and pulled her into his lap. Roxy responded to this saying, "You can do it if you want. I'm actually quite experienced. I've heard that it can help a man feel better. Actually, it helps people feel better, I would like to lose myself as well. We can help each other feel better. But if I'm not appealing, I'm sure if you bow your head to Elinalise she would be willing, or we could take you to a brothel." This is when Rudeus 'attacked her.' The very way Roxy position this, when Rudeus looked like he was going to take her, was to give him other options, but to not making him feel bad if he chose 'her,' which is why she lied about being experienced, and told him he would be "helping" her feel better, she didn't want to add gilt to his pain, so she was going to take all of the consequences on herself to the extent she could. Roxy risked a lot to do this, and she knew she was risking a lot, but your portrayal of the events doesn't even nod to the self-sacrifice involved. You really positioned her as some sort of predator taking advantage of his weakness just so she could get some, and it was a happy coincidence it happen to have the upside of getting him on his feet. But if that was Roxy, nothing else about the situation makes any sense.
Video Summary: Worst Girl = Normal Girl (and not an idealized waifu) Roxy is one of the most introspective of the three. Worried about if she's raising her daughter correctly by not being able to talk to her telepathically contrasted with her parents learning Demon language so they can raise Roxy. And during the Shirone war, she was willing to do all the killing in Rudy's place as long as Rudy would watch her back. I know the title is just a bit of a troll for views, but while Roxy isn't the most waifu, she is just as dedicated to the family as you'd hope a wife could be.
Definitely! She's a good wife actually just not like super hands-on. In my opinion Rudeus and co actually kind of fail the kids pretty hard by being so hands-off, but it's not necessarily the wrong decision to make in theory. But you can see where it hurts them with Lucy, Sieghart, and Ars. Those kids definitely needed more guidance and direction and took the lack thereof as Rudeus being disinterested in them, rather than his intent of letting them figure out how they want to live without his interference. It's a clashing values kind of thing.
@@sevennights6377 I think their method of raising their kids was influenced by how they raised Aisha and Norn. Aisha is a literal genius who didn't need guidance, and Norn was someone who didn't respond well to overprotectiveness. The kids sort of grow up in the same mold as celebrity kids of today, where the parents are always busy, but beloved (or feared) by strangers around the world.
@@jpstahl2939 Yeah, that makes sense. I think that it didn't work out great for Aisha and Norn, who to be fair are fine but definitely have issues because of their upbringing. Rudeus just really doesn't have the skillset needed to raise someone like them, which I don't blame him for but yeah.
Just air season 2 already 😩 don't care about ED and tp 3 arc, it might be the most interesting for next season but I'm most waiting Rudues-Slyphy interaction, it's so fluffy and full of life.
Old man Rudeus cheated on her. A lot. All while basically ignoring her even after she finds out, that's on him and not her. She didn't even leave for another guy, just to go help Ariel. Sucks but it's on Old Rudeus for being a moron. (Also Eris is best girl, in this video I'm meaning "best girl" as in who would be the best mother basically. The idea of the video is that best girl as a concept like that is kinda silly and the characters are more than that.)
@@sevennights6377 regardless of old man rudeus being a moron the fact that eris was able to stick around regardless of his attitude unlike sylphy shows that she is best girl.
@@tomandjerry600t Of course, Roxy is untested in this regard, as Roxy dies. But we do know Roxy is willing to sacrifice herself for Rudeus, as she tries to do so with the Death God. We don't "know" if she would have put up with all of the cheating, but information we have suggests she would, as she told her parents she is basically Rudeus's "mistress." Indicating she doesn't feel she has any sort of exclusive claim on Rudeus.
@@sevennights6377 Rudeus was very broken. It doesn't make it ok. But however bad Sylphie thought she had it, Eris had it FAR FAR FAR worse, and she stuck with him to the end, when she ultimately gave her life. Sylphie had also previously stated she would choose Ariel over Rudeus. We saw this when Rudeus asked her about it after they just got engaged/married (hard to tell with the way the story treats marriage). Then to top all of this off, Sylphie was also willing to risk Rudeus's life to try to put Arial on the throne, which would have been a death sentence if not for Orsted's involvement. Slyphie has very desirable attributes, but she's objectively the least bonded to Rudeus of the three, and she knows that, it's why she was willing to share Rudeus, because she knew she didn't give her whole self to Rudeus and she had no right to ask what she couldn't do herself. If either Roxy or Eris had been wife one, it's unlike Rudeus would have gotten a wife two, let alone three.
Roxy is best girl, she is the literally god in Rudi's mind. Rudi even had the sacred relic on his deathbed. She "cracked the egg" for Rudi to go outside again given his previous life, which is the foundation for Rudi to even build a relationship with Sylphy, Eris, and all the other characters in the story. Dude even built a secret shrine in the basement dedicated to Roxy when he bought the house to live with Sylphy. Sidenote: Given the flaws and how she is a great character and lifespan to live in 2nd Laplace war, she would make a good candidate for MT sequel.
A very good objective take, however Waifus are never picked objectively.
I think Roxy is a great character and certainly not the worst girl, neither in the story nor even among Rudeus' wives. (Not gonna say who I consider to be the worst to not trigger anyone)
She's different, she inspired Rudeus to start living his life, she was there when he needed someone the most and she's neither super confident nor over reliant on Rudeus, she feels like the most human of his wives to be honest.
She's also the same age as Rudeus, which puts them on equal footing."
I am talking about whether or not I like Roxy.
They get married and have a good relationship."
If that's your desired context you lost sight of it, because you talk about her relationship to Rudeus on multiple occasions, about how they aren't "soul mates" and aren't "star crossed lovers." So it seems Rudeus's perspective is actually rather important, as he's the other side of the relationship being discussed, not you or the audience.
Video Summary: Worst Girl = Normal Girl (and not an idealized waifu)
Roxy is one of the most introspective of the three.
Good video, it seems to me like you are looking for a big fight with the Roxy believers
I'm prepared for the fight.
Hmm, isn't Roxy about 50 ish?
Something like that, I didn't look up what she was aged at the time haha. Point stands though.
Roxy is actually the same age as Rudeus if you take into account his previous life and his new life.
Depends a great deal on when you're talking. Roxy and Rudeus are actually the same age mentally. Sylphie and Rudeus are the same age physically.
I hate how we act like Roxy home wrecking was normal I loath her with all my life
Roxy Best girl, can't change my mind
Jokes aside, good vid
Just air season 2 already 😩 don't care about ED and tp 3 arc, it might be the most interesting for next season but I'm most waiting Rudues-Slyphy interaction, it's so fluffy and full of life.
This is a brave video, I respect you putting this out there (also I agree).
blue hair + demon = best girl in my opinion
Eris
Yeah I agree she is not best girl . But to say she is worst girl . This is a bit too far . I think she is better than Aisha , Norn and Ariel.
I just mean worst of the main 3 ya feel. She's def better than Norn and whatnot lol.
Everyone has their own favorate and i think

#3 Eris

Sylphy best girl? is that a joke? she left old man rudeus that automatically disqualifies her and basically does nothing in the final fight.
Making Rudeus marrying Roxy feels like shipping Naruto and Kakashi
