that light reversal is too damn good, it can amputate orsted arm meaning its a true full hearted technique, if eris is the one invented this (which she used against nina for the king title duel) then she is truly a sword god master

On top of that, she didn't use it in her last duel with Nina. She used a counter from the North God style, sacrificing power for speed. Outpacing Nina's Sword of Light in the process. The fact that she was able to make such a decision and win the duel with that, led Gal Farion to call her a master.

Nina was slightly slower than Eris and if Eris' sword of light could easily be blocked by Orsted then there's no way Nina is faster. Also, Orsted for the whole time in this series has been holding back or limited to just using a fraction of his full strength.

It's understandable for Silphy and Roxy as they both are quite clueless on how strong Orsted is and Rudeus was acting like it won't be much of a problem. CEO is the best girl tho
So exciting. One of my favorite parts was when she gets Rudys letter letting her know he has two wives and that he'll take her as his 3rd. She seemed stunned and didn't know what to do. But once she read that he was going to fight Orstead she knew immediately that's what she had trained for, to fight next to Rudy as an equal and not just a burden.

I fell in love with this LN quite early on but this is the part where I just accepted the fact that there's something unique about mushoku tensei in particular that makes it a masterpiece.
Dude me and some friends were reading it back when it was releasing chapter to chapter, it was always great the day after a release, we'd be fervently talking about the story and what we thought might happen next ect. It was always something special even from the beginning, because the characters are not paragons of righteous behavior, flawed and prone to err, the story never once excused their mistakes but as always the central theme was of forgiving, getting over and becoming better. For the longest time even with the teleportation disaster, it seemed it was just the story of a guy living in a fantasy world with a second chance, until it wasnt and that made it so many fucking times better, the fact that hitogami had been doing what he had (I mean if you watched this video you got fairly spoiled already but being vague on purpose here) I can not wait to see this all go down in the anime, the studio behind it has killed it so hard, i'm not ready for turning point 3 to happen... just rudi making up with paul and various other such scenes in season 1 was enough to emotionally destroy me.
