The EnerGel ink technology is very impressive. I looked at the ink dry under a microscope and it dried within 2 seconds. It never bleeds or smudges even on cheap paper. Its my new go to pen for work where I have to log data for the FDA while machining parts. Made in Japan.
My personal favorite is the Uniball Signo black pens. It doesn’t really smudge, it’s smooth, comfortable to write with, and the barrel has a nice look to it. They aren’t the most cheap disposable pens, but they are great.
Those ones were my favorite for YEARSSS!! Almost my entire life! They’ll always have a special place in my heart haha

OMG I got those exact same sharpie gels when back to school shopping and I LOOOOVEE them. I have hyperhydrosis, meaning I sweat a lot (especially my hands and feet) and my writing is constantly smudging.
I’ve been using the sharpie pen for 3 years I will never go back!
My favorite pens are Flair pens. They work so well and there are so many color packs to choose from!
I bought Pentel EnerGel pens yesterday and tested them, and I love them so much, so I agree with you!

I'm a fan of fountain pens, but otherwise, I tend to stick with the old reliable Bic Cristals in black.
After watching this video, I went and bought all of them from Amazon. We don't have the Pentel 0.7 needle tip in Singapore, only 0.3, 0.4, 0.5 needle tips. Turns out the 0.7 needle tip is made in Mexico for Pentel America, interesting and the 0.7 ink flow is super SMOOTH. Like gliding on butter, I love all of them haha 😄 🐥

personally i really enjoy G2 pens, i might not have tried the pilot but, if i had to choose between sharpie and G2 i would choose G2. I use them everyday for school and writing my notes, but i also use a combination of both sharpie and G2 for my joirnal. I have not tried the pen tel but compared to the other two it looks like a very good pen. Anyways i feel like G2 is a much more comfortable pen to write with and glides across the page very well. Thankyou❤️❤️
People say they smudge a lot, which they do but when im writing it doesnt smudge at all. Even if im highlighting, i can just ignore the smudges. This pen overall is really good, its ink flow is good, its very smooth, its comfortable and its pretty cheap and accessable. Really reccomend it!
I use and love the Pilot G2, but I might try out the Energel.

I have G2 and Sharpie pens, and I use G2 for writing (journaling) and the sharpie for art. Though, I really like the paper mate pens (the ones people use for resin DIYs). I’ve been using that as of the moment for journaling. I think paper mate has my number one for writing. Though I want to try the energel pens at some point. I just haven’t bought any yet.

The Pental is my favorite pen as well and I really enjoy the Sharpie. I recently bought the piolot g2s and all of them were scrtachy and skipping. I was so mad I had to get rid of them. I'll just stick with my energels and sharpies.
I like the eraser pen They are really fun I think they are either on line or Walmart anyway I love your pens the one of the polkadots it looks like mine a bit but I love the polkadot pen the most 😍☺️🙂
What’s it like journaling with erasable pen, does the ink last awhile? I’ve heard the ink fades over time and I don’t want to risk journaling with them if that’s the case. I’ve always been curious and want to hear your POV.
@@tallulahpauline3327 well no It won’t fade over time who ever said that to you was wrong it is just like any other pen and Carrie walker said in one of her videos that pen won’t fade over time it worked in my journal and I am sure it will for you try and buy it and grab a peace of paper and you will find out 👍🏿and actually the ink last for a while if it is in pen and it will stay on paper forever 🙂
@@KahliaRoberts2639 thank you, I definitely will now. 😜 I read it on the reviews on the frixon pens on Amazon. So, that person on Amazon is wrong. Lol, I figured it probably wasn’t true but I wanted to have the extra insurance.
Try an experiment where you take out the ink cartridge from the Pentel energel pen and put it into the Pilot G2 pen body.

My favorite pen is the zebra picolo 0.5 and zebra kokoro pens. Idk if you can find it outside of indonesia but kokoro pens are basically budget zebra sarasa pens. Pretty much the exact same ink formula but cheaper

I like Pilot G2's in the ultra thin size more than the regular 0.7 size. The ultra thin is 0.38, but that's just what I prefer since I have small hand writing. I love the Pentel Energels too, I have them in just about every size along with the sharpie pens. The sharpie pens might be my least favorite but I still use them here and there.
you've names my favorite pen as well .38 for small writing and it doesn't ghost thru most pages
I personally use the sharpie gel pens! but thats because ive never tried any other pens.

Hi Carrie! I love these videos with all the pens, but I was wondering if you could review another brand of pen that I really enjoy using. They're the Bic Gel-ocity 0.5mm pens either the retractable or non retractable ones. I really enjoy their dark ink and thicker lines, and would recommend them. Thanks! (Forgot to mention I found them at Harris Teeter, or recently my Dollar store has started selling the non retractable ones!)
My favorite pen is zebra Sarasa dry X 20 pens
The only pen I will use for journaling are sharpie gel pens, but not the ballpoint pens with a "clicky" at the top. They have a cap that clicks on

I like the sharpie pen ink too but I have tried several of them and they all skip. I love the pentel pens also. Not a fan of pilot G2
for the sharpie if you wanted a heavy one you get the reusable barrel and it is metal instead of plastic

i also use a pentel pen. but i use the pentel arts hybrid technica. i think it writes really smoothly. it doesn’t have the prettiest barrel but i still love it. it does smudge a bit tho😬😬

I have the sharpie pens in every size, as well as the ener-gels. love the needle tip on those, but wish the barrels were a little thinner? I think?
Bic gelocity I also really like, as well as the pilot v5 "percise" ones. but I think those are specifically 0.5mm? though that's my preference anyway.

I live in the UK too! I use a zebra z-grip, though I sometimes switch it up with banner pens (company) or Rorito Racerites ^^

This was my favorite for the longest time, but is now replaced with Bic Gelocity Pen ....
The Pilot G2 has Nice dark ink. It is very smearable , and takes a momment for the ink to dry (over 10 seconds). But this $3 pen lost it's position as a favorite , cause it has leaked/ exploded in the pocket and ruin a $300 bushcraft Winter Coat and many shirts.I only use it for thickening Title pages and making borders in the bullet journa, it stays only on my desk.
